Training Module Progress & Content Strategy — 2026-04-05
Meeting type: Touch-base sync
Attendees: Isalia Ramirez (Asymmetric), Gus Donelson (Agility Recovery)
Client: [1]
Overview
Regular sync between Isalia and Gus covering four main areas: module ownership transfers and review status, scoping of the tech stack (Salesforce/SalesLoft/ZoomInfo) training course, a pivot in video content strategy, and a redesign direction for the participant guide.
Key Decisions
Module Ownership
- Transferred (complete): "Advanced Presentation" and "Post-Sale Follow-up" modules are now owned by Gus in RISE 360.
- Pending transfer: "Verticals 1" and "Verticals 2" modules were not yet transferred — Isalia to resolve before Friday.
- Co-pilot module: Ready for Gus's review. Contains a Storyline element that Isalia finds partially redundant with native RISE 360 capabilities, but sees value in the interactivity. Gus will review and provide direction on whether to continue using Storyline going forward.
- Recovery Management & Testing module: Luke Terry (Recovery Manager) submitted feedback via Review 360 the day of this meeting. Isalia will review before Friday's call and publish a revised version if edits are straightforward.
Tech Stack Course Scope (Salesforce / SalesLoft / ZoomInfo)
- Course will be 101-level — fundamentals only, not advanced workflows.
- Target skills: lead creation, call logging, email tracking, quote generation, profile setup, calendar locking.
- Rationale: most new hires have some Salesforce familiarity but little to no SalesLoft or ZoomInfo experience; each instance is also slightly different.
- A 102-level course (quoting, importing, etc.) is a future consideration, not in current scope.
- Gus will provide a new-rep walkthrough video recorded by a rep for a rep — useful reference material for course development.
- Isalia will be granted live tool access via a 24-hour expiring invite — Gus will coordinate timing to ensure she can complete setup before it expires.
- ⚠️ Articulate/RISE 360 subscription flagged as expiring in ~4 days. Gus to follow up with admin immediately.
Video Content Pivot
- "Day in the Life" video: canceled. Resource constraints (Gus is a team of one) make it unmanageable to coordinate.
- New focus — two videos:
1. "Welcome to Agility" — leadership message to new hires, recorded individually by each leader.
2. "Graduation" — celebratory video marking completion of onboarding. - Leadership recordings will be done individually (not in a group setting); Gus may capture some in Denver during an upcoming in-person gathering.
- B-roll/stills: Existing photos and social videos from the Sales Kickoff (SKO) are available in SharePoint and will be used as supporting footage.
Participant Guide Redesign
- Current draft is 37 pages — flagged as too long for the intended use case.
- Design direction: Streamlined, digital-first resource (likely an interactive PDF). Goal is to guide learners to information rather than provide everything in the document itself.
- The guide should prepare new hires to arrive at facilitated debriefs ready for specific, substantive conversation (e.g., "What does the Agility Way mean to you in your own words?") — not generic "what stuck out to you?" check-ins.
- Some fill-in/reflection prompts are desirable so learners engage actively during self-paced e-learning.
- Facilitator Guide purpose: enable any trainer (not just Gus) to run sessions effectively if Gus is unavailable — includes session flow, discussion points, and debrief questions week by week.
- Training structure confirmed: hybrid model — self-paced RISE e-learnings completed as homework, followed by facilitated debrief sessions.

| Gus | Follow up with admin re: expiring Articulate subscription | Urgent — ~4 days |

| Both | Meet Friday to sync on progress and plan around upcoming time off (Gus off Apr 2–4, Isalia off Apr 6) | Friday |
Context & Notes
- Gus is the sole owner of Agility Recovery's sales training program — no internal team support. Asymmetric is effectively his production team.
- New cyber product launch is consuming significant bandwidth; contributed to delays on video recordings and module reviews.
- New hires typically onboard one at a time, which compresses the facilitated debrief format and makes the participant guide's "less is more" direction even more appropriate.
- Real names and internal data are approved for use in course content (internal-only distribution).
- Co-pilot module's Storyline element may inform the approach for the Salesforce/SalesLoft/ZoomInfo course, which Gus believes is a natural fit for Storyline's simulation capabilities.
