Amazon Store Setup Consideration
Overview
During the April 5 weekly ops call, Mark and Melissa briefly discussed the possibility of setting up an Amazon store for Doudlah Farms ("Doodla") as a next step in expanding their sales channels. The client is already in the process of creating their own online store, and Amazon was floated as a logical follow-on opportunity.
Context
Doudlah Farms has been an active project with some internal pivots on the client side (product/brand naming changes). Despite that churn, the team feels they are in a strong position with the client and the CEO appears happy with the work. Melissa noted the relationship has potential to grow significantly — the client suggested they could see themselves using Asymmetric for up to 20 hours/week of ongoing work.
"They are creating actually a store. So it's not on Amazon, but they are... I think that's the next step, Mark. I think that that would be good."
— Melissa Cusumano
Current Status
- Client is building their own storefront (not Amazon-native)
- Amazon store setup identified as a potential next phase — not yet proposed or scoped
- No formal proposal or pricing discussed for this work
Opportunity Notes
- An in-person meeting between Riley (team member) and the Doudlah Farms contact was flagged as a near-term priority to deepen the relationship and position Asymmetric for expanded scope
- Video production was also discussed as an add-on service for this client (see [1])
Action Items
- [ ] Melissa to email Didion (Doudlah Farms contact) to schedule in-person meeting with Riley (@Melissa Cusumano)
- [ ] Evaluate Amazon store setup as a formal service offering to propose after current project wraps
