Landing Page Blocker — Domain Setup
Overview
During the [1], PaperTube landing pages were identified as blocked on two fronts: a missing domain configuration and an unreliable embedded Salesforce form. Both issues need to be resolved before the landing pages can go live.
Blockers
1. Domain Setup (Awaiting Mark)
The landing pages cannot be fully tested or launched because the correct domain has not been added to the hosting environment. This is a dependency on Mark — the domain (believed to be papertube.pro) needs to be configured before the pages are accessible.
Status: Blocked — waiting on Mark to complete domain setup.
2. Salesforce Form Reliability
The existing embedded Salesforce form on the landing pages is unreliable. Observed behavior: the form appears to work on first load but fails on subsequent visits. The root cause is the embedded Salesforce form itself, which the team considers unsuitable for production use.
Decision: Replace the embedded Salesforce form with a native WordPress Gravity Form, then link the Gravity Form to Salesforce for data continuity.
Action Items
| Owner | Action | Due |
|---|---|---|
| Mark | Add the correct domain (papertube.pro) to the hosting environment |
ASAP — blocking all landing page work |
| Karly | Build new WordPress Gravity Form to replace the embedded Salesforce form; link to Salesforce | Tomorrow (2026-03-10) |
Context
- The landing pages themselves have been built out in WordPress; the domain and form issues are the remaining blockers to going live.
- Karly flagged the Salesforce form issue in a task comment prior to the sprint meeting; the decision to switch to Gravity Forms was confirmed during the meeting.
- This blocker was noted alongside [2] as one of the two critical client blockers in the sprint.
