Portal Project Status — W.I. Masons (2026-04-03)
Overview
Mark Hope has initiated development of a standalone web portal for W.I. Masons to handle complex automations that are not feasible within their existing WordPress site. As of 2026-04-03, the project is blocked pending credentials from the client.
This was discussed during the [1] with Lincoln Durham (Quarra) and the Asymmetric team.
Portal Architecture
- URL:
portal.wimasons.foundation - Approach: Standalone portal (separate from the WordPress site). Lodge members will be redirected from the main site to this portal for login and self-service actions.
- Rationale: The automations required — including Stripe payment flows — are not practical to build on WordPress. A dedicated portal provides a cleaner, more maintainable foundation.
- Scope: Handles member login, action triggers, and outbound automations including Stripe payment processing.
Current Status

Development cannot proceed until the following credentials are received from the client:

The 9x database is where W.I. Masons' member data lives; Mark needs access to pull that data into the portal. Stripe API credentials are required to wire up payment flows.

- Karly emailed Erica (client contact) 2–3 days prior to this meeting requesting access — no response received.
- Mark has also sent emails requesting the necessary credentials.
- Action assigned: Karly to email Adam directly, noting that the project is now waiting on the client.
Team Access
Mark will add Karly Oykhman and Sebastian to the portal project and schedule a walkthrough call so the team can orient themselves before contributing.
