Trachte FAQ Rewrites — Smart Locks, TrackRite, Ask the Expert
Overview
Trachte's FAQ content is being rewritten and expanded across three areas: the Smart Locks product page, the TrackRite door line, and the "Ask the Expert" section on the main Trachte site. The goal is to reframe content from conversational phone-call language into search-optimized, web-appropriate copy while preserving accuracy for the sales team.
This effort is a collaboration between Asymmetric (first-pass drafting) and Robyn Ogden's team (sales review and approval).
Status by Section
| Section | Status | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Smart Locks FAQ | ✅ Live | Complete |
| TrackRite FAQs | 🔄 In progress | Robyn coordinating with MEAPS |
| Ask the Expert | 📝 Draft due EOD Dec 16 | Sebastian → Robyn |
Workflow
- Asymmetric drafts first pass — Sebastian's team (with coordinator support) rewrites FAQ content for web readability and search intent.
- Robyn reviews with sales team — Robyn takes the drafts to the relevant Trachte/TrackRite sales directors to validate accuracy and tone.
- Publish — Approved content goes live on the appropriate product or section page.
The Smart Locks FAQ completed this cycle and is live. The remaining sections are in earlier stages.
Ask the Expert Section
The "Ask the Expert" questions on the Trachte site were originally written to mirror phone-call conversations — natural spoken language, but not how a prospect would type a query into a search engine. The rewrite objective is to:
- Rephrase questions to match search intent
- Ensure answers are concise and scannable
- Cover the full range of services (not just one product line)
Sebastian committed to delivering drafts by EOD December 16, 2025 so Robyn could review them in person with the sales team that week.
"I thought when you guys could get that pass done and then I'd go review it with the sales team." — Robyn Ogden
TrackRite FAQs
TrackRite FAQs are in progress. Robyn is scheduling a meeting with the MEAPS team (TrackRite sales contacts) to gather input. A meeting invite was expected to go out Wednesday or Thursday of the week of December 15.
Key Decisions
- Asymmetric drafts first, Trachte reviews second. The client does not want to write from scratch; they want a starting point to react to.
- Scope includes Ask the Expert. This section had been somewhat ambiguous in ownership; it is now confirmed as part of this FAQ rewrite project.
- Product overlap is intentional. Robyn is reviewing for overlap across product types (e.g., Smart Locks content that also applies to TrackRite) to avoid duplication.

- [ ] Robyn: Review FAQ drafts with Trachte sales team upon receipt
