Hazard OS: Job Lifecycle Automation

Overview

Hazard OS is a custom-built application developed for the Advanced H&S client to replace their existing MarketSharp CRM and associated manual processes. The app automates the entire job lifecycle — from initial site survey through to final invoice — eliminating manual handoffs and reducing administrative overhead for the client's operations coordinator (Gina).

The app was demoed internally on 2026-02-25 and is targeted for client showcase at the March 10 Advanced H&S meeting.

Problem It Solves

The client previously relied on MarketSharp as their CRM alongside a series of manual steps to move a job from survey to completion. This created:

Hazard OS consolidates all of this into a single platform with automated transitions between stages.

Automated Workflow

The core value of Hazard OS is the end-to-end automation of the job lifecycle:

Site Survey
    ↓ (auto-generates)
Estimate
    ↓ (customer approval triggers)
Scheduled Job (added to calendar)
    ↓ (job completion triggers)
Invoice (auto-generated and sent)

Stage Details

1. Site Survey
Field staff schedule and conduct site surveys within the app. Survey data is captured directly in the platform.

2. Estimate Generation
On survey completion, the app automatically generates an estimate — including hours, personnel, trucks, and materials. The operations coordinator (Gina) reviews and can edit any line item before approval. Once approved, the estimate is sent to the customer.

3. Job Scheduling
When the customer signs/approves the estimate, a job is automatically created and placed on the calendar. No manual scheduling step required.

4. Invoice
On job completion, an invoice is automatically generated and sent to the customer.

Status

As of 2026-02-25, the app is nearly complete. Mark worked on it until 10pm the night before the check-in. A production environment push was still pending at time of demo (estimates view had a minor issue attributed to not being on the production environment yet).

Next step before showcase: Mark to meet with Gina to walk through the app and validate workflows against her day-to-day process.
