Aviary — Advertiser Verification Blocker
Overview
Aviary's Google Ads account is blocked from running campaigns due to a failed advertiser verification. The account has been submitted for verification multiple times without success. Until this is resolved, campaign optimization is frozen — the Google Ads interface shows red status boxes and prevents changes.
This is a critical blocker for a [1] where no channel (SEO, Ads, or email) is currently producing results.
The Error
Google's verification system returns the following rejection message:
"The name on the document you provide does not match the organizational details you provided."
The document submitted contains "Asymmetric" but Google is not accepting it as a match against the organizational details on file. The specific document or field causing the mismatch has not been disclosed by Google through the self-service flow.
What Has Been Tried
- Manual review requested — no resolution
- Escalation attempted through the self-service interface — no resolution
- Verification submitted and resubmitted approximately six times without success
- Deadline noted in the account: April 12
Root Cause (Suspected)
A name mismatch between the document provided (likely a business registration or billing document) and the organizational name entered in the Google Ads account settings. Google does not specify which field is mismatched through the automated rejection flow.
Resolution Path
- Call Google Ads support directly. The self-service and manual review paths have been exhausted. A phone call is required to get a human to identify the specific document or field causing the mismatch.
- Ask the support rep: Which document is failing, and exactly which field name does not match?
- Resubmit with a corrected document or corrected organizational details once the mismatch is identified.
- Once verification clears, Mark to audit the Aviary Google Ads account — campaigns are currently structured but frozen.
