Google Ads Advertiser Verification — A New Dawn & Shine
Overview
Google periodically requires advertisers to complete an advertiser verification process within their Google Ads account. Both A New Dawn Therapy and Shine Marketing are subject to this requirement. As of the October 2025 check-in call, the Shine account had an active verification deadline of November 8th.
This process is managed under Billing → Advertiser Verification in the Google Ads interface.
Process
- Log in to the Google Ads account.
- Navigate to Billing in the left sidebar.
- Select Advertiser Verification.
- Answer the prompted questions — typically straightforward identity/business questions.
- Submit any requested supporting documents (e.g., business registration, ID).
Google's AI may initially flag a submitted document, requiring a follow-up through Google Ads support. This is a known edge case and not the typical outcome.
Cadence
Verification is not a one-time event. Google re-triggers the process periodically — estimated roughly every six months, though the exact cadence is not fixed. Accounts should be monitored for new verification prompts.

- The Asymmetric team has admin-level visibility into both accounts and can monitor verification status.
- If the automated document scan fails, the resolution path is to contact Google Ads support directly.
- Katie (client) does not need to manage this herself; the team handles it on her behalf.
