TrackRite Meta Ad Account Verification Issue
Overview
TrackRite's Meta ad account is blocked pending business verification. The core problem is structural: TrackRite is a division (trading name) of Trachte Building Systems, not a standalone legal entity. Meta's verification system expects the business name on submitted documents to match the ad account name — which it cannot, because no legal entity named "TrackRite" exists independently.
All TrackRite Meta campaigns are paused until this is resolved.
This issue was escalated during the [1].
Root Cause
TrackRite operates as a division of Trachte Building Systems. All legal and tax documentation (EIN, W-9, etc.) is registered under Trachte Building Systems, not TrackRite. Meta's automated verification system flags the name mismatch and rejects submissions — likely via an AI scan that sees "Trachte Building Systems" on the document and does not recognize it as authorizing the "TrackRite" ad account.
Documents Submitted (as of 2025-09-26)
Robyn Ogden has submitted multiple rounds of documentation, including:
- CFO letter on Trachte letterhead — Explains that TrackRite is a trading name used for outdoor products under the Trachte Building Systems legal entity, not a separate legal entity.
- W-9 / IRS Form W-9 — Shows Trachte Building Systems EIN (same EIN used for TrackRite, as they share the entity).
- Request for Taxpayer Identification form — Resubmitted at least once.
Meta's system allows only one document upload per submission attempt, which prevents bundling all supporting documents together for a human reviewer to evaluate holistically.
Escalation Strategy
Automated submissions have repeatedly failed. The recommended path forward is to bypass the automated flow and reach a human support agent:
- Continue submitting the most complete single document available (CFO letter is the strongest candidate, as it directly addresses the division/trading-name relationship).
- Open a support ticket or live chat via Meta Business Help Center — navigate to Help → Contact Support. Explicitly state:
- The account has been submitted multiple times with valid documentation.
- TrackRite is a legally recognized trading name under Trachte Building Systems.
- Request human review of the submitted documents. - Send all three documents together via the support channel (CFO letter, W-9, taxpayer ID form) since the verification portal only accepts one at a time.
- If Robyn hits a wall, Sebastian Gant (Asymmetric) can attempt escalation from the agency side.
"What you need is a human who can just send all three to you and say, why are these not working?" — Sebastian Gant, 2025-09-26
Impact While Paused
- All TrackRite Meta campaigns are inactive.
- Planned door hallway Meta campaign (display graphics + video) cannot launch until verification clears.
- LinkedIn is being considered as an interim channel for TrackRite door hallway promotion while Meta is blocked.
- Bing Ads setup for TrackRite is proceeding in parallel and is not affected by this issue.
Interim Channel Plan
| Channel | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Meta (TrackRite) | ❌ Paused | Blocked by verification |
| 🔄 Planned | Door hallway campaign to be set up | |
| Bing Ads | 🔄 In setup | Copy from Google campaigns |
| Google Ads | ✅ Active | Door hallway PPC running, budget raised to $20/day |
