Quarra Opportunity Field Updates

Decisions made during the [1] to clean up Opportunity picklist fields so they better reflect how Quarra actually sources and categorizes business.

Lead Source Field

Changes

Action Value
Rename "Customer Initiated" → "Email / Phone"
Add "Existing Customer"
Remove "Change Order"

Rationale

"Customer Initiated" → "Email / Phone": The original label was vague. Splitting intent from channel wasn't deemed necessary — a single "Email / Phone" option captures the meaning more precisely.

"Existing Customer": When creating a new Opportunity against an existing Account, there was no clean way to indicate the source. Lincoln noted that you'd never create a Lead from an existing customer, so the Lead Source on the Opportunity needed its own option to reflect this scenario.

Remove "Change Order": Change orders only arise after a contract is signed and scope is added — that belongs in a future Project object, not in the Opportunity sales pipeline. Keeping it on Opportunity was semantically incorrect and potentially polluted pipeline reporting.

"A change order only occurs after you're under contract and they add scope to the existing contract. So that would be something that should exist in like the project object in the future."
