A New Dawn SEO Monitoring in Ahrefs
Overview
Both the A New Dawn and Shine websites will be added as projects to the Asymmetric Ahrefs dashboard to enable ongoing SEO monitoring. For A New Dawn specifically, Ahrefs will serve as the primary tool for tracking site health, organic traffic trends, and keyword performance over time.
This was confirmed during the [1] / [2] marketing sync on 2025-11-07.
What Will Be Tracked
- Site health score — overall technical SEO health of the domain
- Organic traffic — visitor trends driven by search
- Keyword rankings — position tracking for target keywords across specialty and service pages
Setup Notes
- Both sites will be added as projects within Asymmetric's Ahrefs portfolio/dashboard
- For A New Dawn, Ahrefs monitoring will be most meaningful after the new site is fully built out — baseline metrics captured now will be less representative than post-launch data
- For Shine, baseline metrics can be captured immediately and used to measure improvement over time
"Obviously with New Dawn, that'll be more effective after the new site's put together. And for Shine, you know, we might get some base metrics and then we'll make adjustments and move on from there." — Sebastian Gant
Relationship to Copy & SEO Work
Ahrefs monitoring ties directly into the on-page SEO work being done through the [3]. As pages are written, approved, and published with target keywords, Ahrefs will be used to validate that rankings and traffic respond accordingly.
Target keywords are being defined per page in the shared Google Doc copy review process — Ahrefs data will inform keyword selection and help prioritize pages over time.
