Didion Milling — Partial Audit Report (GSC Access)
Overview
During a Monday sync between Mark and Melissa, Didion's contact Diana requested an explanation of recent technical fixes performed on their site. Because the full [1] requires a complete set of client credentials (Cloudflare, GTM container access, etc.) that Didion has not yet provided, only a partial audit can be run using currently available access.
Confirmed available access: Google Search Console (GSC).
Missing: Cloudflare Zone ID, GTM container credentials.
Mark committed to running a partial audit report scoped to GSC data and sending it to Melissa, who will forward it to Diana.
Purpose
- Respond to Diana's request for visibility into what technical work has been performed and why
- Demonstrate audit methodology to the client in a concrete, readable format
- Serve as a client education artifact — a plain-language alternative to trying to explain technical SEO work via email
What the Partial Audit Covers
Given available credentials, the partial report can include:
| Area | Available | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Website audit (on-page) | ✅ Partial | WordPress application password access confirmed previously |
| Google Analytics audit | ❓ Unknown | Not confirmed in this session |
| Google Tag Manager audit | ❌ No | GTM container credentials not provided |
| Google Search Console | ✅ Yes | Access confirmed during the call |
The GSC portion of the report will include:
- Top queries driving impressions and clicks
- Traffic trend data
- Any indexing or coverage issues surfaced by GSC
Audit Methodology (for Client Reference)
The full audit process — when all credentials are available — runs approximately 70 automated steps across four domains:
- Website audit — meta descriptions, page structure, broken links, on-page SEO signals
- Google Analytics audit — confirms tracking is firing correctly, reviews traffic sources
- Google Tag Manager audit — validates tag count, event configuration, variable integrity
- Google Search Console audit — query performance, top pages, indexing health
For Didion, steps 1 and 4 are partially executable. Steps 2 and 3 are blocked pending credential handover.
Example from a comparable client (Advanced Health & Safety): the audit identified 13 missing meta descriptions, of which 10 were remediated in the same cycle. GTM tags and GA event firing were also validated. GSC query data was reviewed for traffic quality signals.
Credential Gaps — Didion
The following credentials are still needed to run a full audit:
- [ ] Cloudflare Zone ID
- [ ] GTM Container access
- [ ] Google Analytics property access (unconfirmed)
Melissa noted that Didion's contact has been slow to hand over credentials, possibly due to a difficult prior agency relationship. Two-factor authentication on their accounts has also added friction to the access process.
