AHS Request-a-Training Page Updates
Feedback and change requests for the AHS "Request a Training" page, captured during the [1] November 2025 marketing review. Updates address audience clarity, form logic, and page content.
Context
The "Request a Training" page serves non-school organizations (contractors, realtors, businesses) that want AHS to deliver on-site asbestos training. During a staging site review, several gaps were identified: the copy implied the page was only for employers with staff, there was no signal that schools should use a different path, and the form lacked address capture for off-site training requests.
Approved Changes
Header / Messaging
- Change "for your employees" → "for your organization" (or similar) to include realtors and other non-employer entities who may not have traditional employees.
- Add "educational" to the header (e.g., "Customized Educational Training") to preempt concerns that the session is a sales presentation.
- Add a disclaimer that this page is not for schools. Schools have a separate training pathway (the Dells/Madison courses). The note should be visible before the user reaches the form.
Form Logic
- Wisconsin-only validation: If a user enters a non-Wisconsin address, display an inline validation message explaining that AHS services are limited to Wisconsin. Pattern should mirror password-strength indicators — inline, on input, not a blocking modal.
- Conditional address field: When the user selects "Training at your organization's location," a required address field should appear. The contact address already collected may differ from the training site (e.g., a realtor's home address vs. the property being trained at). This field should be clearly labeled as the training location address.
Content Block Removal
- Remove the "Do you think you have asbestos?" block from the bottom of the page. It is not relevant to users who have already navigated to a training request form, and it would rarely be seen by users who have just submitted the form.
Implementation Notes
- Changes should be applied to the staging site first and sent to Gina for approval before going live.
- The conditional address field requires dev involvement to implement the show/hide logic tied to the training location radio button.
- Wisconsin address validation may also require dev work depending on the form platform in use.
