BluePoint State Pages Content Strategy
Overview
BluePoint ATM's website includes a Service Coverage section featuring an interactive state map with individual landing pages for each state where BluePoint operates. These pages serve dual purposes: improving local/regional SEO by targeting state-specific keywords, and giving prospects a geographically relevant entry point into the site.
As of the March 2026 review, 10 state pages have been launched and are live on the map. A second batch of 10 is drafted and pending client review before publication.
Page Structure & Template
Each state page follows a consistent template established during the first batch:
- Hero/header image — a regionally evocative photograph (landmark, landscape, or cultural icon specific to the state)
- Body content — adapted from a shared template; minor copy variations per state
- Embedded map component — clickable states link to their respective pages from the Service Coverage index
The template was designed to be reusable with minimal per-state customization, keeping production time low while still providing unique URLs and content for SEO purposes.
Texas Page — Image Decision
The Texas page required a custom header image because Texas was not included in the original Miro board used to plan the first batch. The team selected a stock photo of longhorns at the Fort Worth Stockyards as the header image.
Review outcome (March 2026 call):
- Image approved by Mike Stebbins and Wade Zirkle
- Two cleanup tasks identified before publishing:
- Remove the stock image watermark
- Airbrush out a partially visible horn on the right edge of the frame
The ATM hero image on the Texas page will also be updated to match the current BluePoint-branded machine used across other state pages (replacing the older mock-up).
Workflow: Drafting → Review → Launch
- Asymmetric drafts the next batch of state pages using the established template
- Karly sends the drafted pages to Mike and Wade for review
- BluePoint reviews for accuracy, imagery approval, and any copy changes
- Asymmetric applies any requested edits, then publishes and adds the state to the interactive map
This workflow was confirmed during the March 2026 call. The next 10 drafted pages were to be sent to BluePoint immediately following the meeting.
SEO Rationale
State pages contribute to BluePoint's broader organic SEO performance by:
- Creating indexable, keyword-rich pages targeting regional search terms (e.g., "reverse ATM [state]", "cashless ATM services [state]")
- Adding internal linking structure that supports the main service pages
- Expanding the site's keyword footprint — organic keywords had doubled in the period leading up to the March 2026 review, with organic traffic up ~40% to 1,600 visitors/month
The state pages are part of a sustained content expansion strategy alongside blog posts and landing pages.
