Didion Masa Narepa — Product Page Review & Feedback
Overview
The Masa Narepa product page was completed and shared with Diana Henry (Didion) for review during the November 2025 marketing call. The page had been previously previewed in mockup form; this session marked the first review of the fully built, live version. Feedback compilation and revision are pending.

Page Status
- Status: Live, pending client feedback and revisions
- Platform: WordPress / Divi (noted as technically challenging to build)
- Review assigned to: Diana Henry (Didion)
Page Elements Reviewed
Hero / Image Carousel
- The hero rotates through a set of pre-approved food photography images (chips, arepa, tortillas, and others).
- One image was flagged as potentially not representing corn clearly — Diana noted it did not look like corn to her; Melissa believed it was corn tortillas.
- A "pancake" image (actually tortillas) was noted as having been removed from the main banner previously but reappeared in the carousel — Diana confirmed it should be removed or replaced.
- Some images displayed a black box artifact on certain screen sizes; flagged as a rendering/responsive issue to fix.
- The slider was observed disappearing and reappearing intermittently — likely a Divi build issue introduced during a recent update.
CTA — "Request a Sample"
- The CTA wording "Request a Sample" was confirmed as acceptable.
- Diana clarified that samples are genuinely free — Didion would not charge a prospect for a sample.
- The original concern was whether the phrasing fit a B2B context; the team agreed it works and mirrors language used elsewhere on the site (e.g., Snack Meal page).
- AAG noted the CTA copy is HTML/dynamic and can be updated at any time if a more benefit-driven phrase is preferred later.
Body Content
- Content mirrors what was previously reviewed in the mockup — no major surprises expected.
- Diana was directed to review from top to bottom and compile all feedback (copy, images, bugs) into a single document rather than sending piecemeal notes.
Key Decisions
| Decision | Detail |
|---|---|
| "Request a Sample" CTA approved | Confirmed free; wording is acceptable for B2B context |
| Feedback format | Diana to compile all notes (copy, images, bugs) top-to-bottom in one document |
| Carousel image issues | Flagged for developer fix; Diana to specify which images to keep/replace |
| Tortilla/pancake image | To be removed or confirmed as intentional |
Action Items
- Diana (Didion): Review the live Masa Narepa product page end-to-end and compile all feedback — copy edits, image swaps, and bug reports — into a single document before sending to AAG.
- AAG / Developer: Fix image carousel rendering issues (disappearing slider, black box artifact on certain screen sizes).
- AAG / Developer: Await Diana's consolidated feedback document before making content or image changes.
Notes & Context
- The page was built in Divi, which the development team finds significantly more difficult to work with than other builders — this context explains some of the rendering quirks observed during the review.
- The Masa Narepa page design (structured, rectangular, no swoosh) directly influenced the decision to redesign the homepage hero in a matching rectangular format. See [3].
- This page is a key asset for the broader Masa Narepa launch, which also includes a 6-week LinkedIn campaign and two email sequences. See [2].
