Finwell U Launch Checklist

Checklist of technical and compliance tasks required to launch the Finwell U website to production. Derived from the ^[1] between Mark Hope and Karly Oykhman.

Launch Process

• [x] Switch primary domain to finwellu.com in hosting environment
• [ ] Push staging site to production (~1-hour process)
• All internal links rewrite automatically (e.g., nextlevelproduction → finwellu.com)
• Do not push while Jeff is actively editing staging
• [ ] Set up redirects from old staging URLs
• [ ] Notify Jeff: pause staging work during push; all future edits go directly in production
• [ ] Run full post-launch site audit (settings, tags, broken links)

Analytics & Tag Management

• [ ] Create Google Tag Manager (GTM) account — name: "Finwell U"
• [ ] Create Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property — name: "Finwell U"
• [ ] Connect GTM container to live site
• [ ] Verify GA4 tag is firing correctly post-launch

Legal Policies

All four core policies are drafted and ready to be linked in the site footer:

• [x] Cookie Policy
• [x] Terms & Conditions
• [x] Disclaimer

Jeff adds these to the footer by inserting the policy name as a linked label pointing to the provided URLs.

Accessibility

• [ ] Add standard Accessibility plugin to the site (Jeff to install — he knows the preferred plugin)
• [ ] Generate and publish Accessibility Statement page
• Required for regulatory compliance given Finwell U's financial services context

Email & Client Actions

The following items require action from the Finwell U client (Jeff/team):

• [ ] Client creates info@finwellu.com — used as the contact address throughout all legal policies
• Recommended setup: configure as a catch-all address on the finwellu.com domain
• Owner: Karly to communicate this requirement to the client

Post-Launch Verification

• [ ] Confirm all policy pages are live and linked correctly in footer
• [ ] Confirm Accessibility Statement page is published
• [ ] Confirm info@finwellu.com is live and referenced correctly in policies
• [ ] Confirm GTM and GA4 are tracking
• [ ] Notify Karly when production push and audit are complete
