FinWellU Page-Specific Edits — UThrive, RetireU, Employers, Register
Edits identified during the pre-launch review session with Peter Tourville and John Jonas (NLPWM). These changes are scoped to individual interior pages and are required before the site goes live. See also [1] for homepage-level changes and [2] for the overall launch plan.
UThrive Page
Headline Update
Change: Update the page headline to:
"Financial education is a right of everyone, not a privilege reserved for high earners."
Rationale: Peter flagged the original phrasing as coming across as "hoity-toity." The revised wording emphasizes inclusivity more directly by adding "of everyone."
RetireU Page
1. Swap Generational Image Captions
Change: The images of the two generational groups were previously swapped. The images have since been corrected, but the text captions beneath them were not updated to match. Swap the captions so that "Thinking about retirement" appears over the younger generation image.
2. Fix Broken "Register" Button
Change: The "Register" button below the generational images is broken and does not link anywhere. Fix the link so it routes to the correct registration destination.
3. Remove Duplicate Header
Change: There are two identical "Check your…" headers appearing in sequence. Remove the redundant one.
For Employers Page
1. Remove Duplicate Paragraph
Change: An identical paragraph appears twice in the first section of the page. Remove one instance.
2. Add Links to UThrive and RetireU Logos
Change: The UThrive and RetireU logos displayed on the For Employers page are not currently linked. Add "Learn More" hotlinks on each logo pointing to their respective pages:
- UThrive logo → UThrive page
- RetireU logo → RetireU page
Register Page
Placeholder Text Update
Change: Update the username field placeholder text from:
"type your username here"
to:
"type your preferred username or email address here"
Rationale: John Jonas requested this to clarify that users may use their email address as a username, reducing friction during account creation.
