# Touch-base: SOAR Modules — 2025-12-10

**Client:** [[wiki/clients/current/agility-recovery/index|Agility Recovery]]
**Attendees:** Gus Donelson (Agility Recovery), Isalia Ramirez (Asymmetric)
**Source:** [Fathom Recording](https://fathom.video/calls/501372266)

---

## Overview

Sync to assess SOAR eLearning module progress after a brief gap. Courses 1–10 are out for review, with Gus having cleared most of them. The Copilot module (Course 8) received scope approval despite running longer than the standard target. A new Salesforce interactive course was elevated to top priority based on ongoing user errors. The January 11 SKO launch was reframed as aspirational, with February new-hire onboarding as the realistic first use.

---

## Key Decisions

| Decision | Detail |
|---|---|
| **Copilot module approved at 30–35 min** | Extended length accepted to accommodate a critical Storyline simulation; Gus will schedule it as a standalone pre-session assignment |
| **Salesforce Storyline course is now top priority** | Passive video training is failing — reps are making critical errors in Salesforce; an interactive click-through course is needed urgently |
| **Jan 11 SKO launch is aspirational, not hard** | No new hires expected until February; SKO focus is a new cyber product and comp plan, not SOAR rollout |
| **SKO (Jan 10–12) used for authentic content capture** | Gus will record video scripts and B-roll in person with leadership, CSMs, and marketing; replaces placeholder AI images and generic scripts |
| **Storyline on Mac is not viable** | Confirmed: Storyline requires a PC or virtual desktop; Isalia will use her husband's Windows machine |

---

## Module Status

### Courses 1–10 (Sent for Review)

- **Reviewed by Gus:** All except `Agility Story` and `Vertical Solutions Part 1` (Gus to complete by EOD same day)
- **High-restructure modules flagged:** `Product Intro Part 2`, `Agility Sales`, and `Vertical Solutions` required the most significant edits

### Courses 11–13 (In Progress — Isalia's Colleague)

| Course | Status |
|---|---|
| `Verticals Part 2` | Being streamlined to meet time limits |
| `Post-Sale Follow-up` | Being streamlined to meet time limits |
| `Presentation` | Being restructured for 102-level content (per Gus's earlier direction) |

Target delivery: following day from meeting date.

### Courses on Hold / Complete

| Course | Status |
|---|---|
| `Prospect Researching` (Course 7) | On hold — no content yet |
| `The Agility Way` (Course 9) | Complete; already deployed to several teams |

---

## Copilot Module — Course 8

**Problem:** Storyline is not installable on macOS without a virtual desktop (confirmed by Gus's Storyline contact).
**Solution:** Isalia will develop on a Windows machine.

**Approved scope:** ~30–35 minutes total, including a Storyline simulation block.

### Three Storyline Scenarios (Approved)

1. **Finding internal resources** — using Copilot to locate case studies and internal files within SharePoint
2. **Prompt writing for prospect research** — crafting effective prompts to research a target account
3. **Complete pre-call workflow** — end-to-end simulation combining scenarios 1 and 2

### Live Follow-on Session (Gus-led)

After completing the course, reps will join a virtual session where Gus will:
- Run Q&A and introduce [Prompt Cowboy](https://promptcowboy.com) for prompt-building practice
- Have all reps simultaneously research a shared prospect (e.g., a credit union and a supply-chain company)
- Debrief on differences in results, prompts used, and follow-up queries

> *"What prompts did you use to get that information? Where did you click through? What secondary prompts did you use?"* — Gus

---

## Salesforce Interactive Course (New Priority)

**Problem:** Current training consists of passive video walkthroughs. Reps are making repeated critical errors in Salesforce, consuming significant management time.

> *"My whole week has been flexed to figure out how to make them stop making these errors in Salesforce."* — Gus

**Solution:** Build an interactive Storyline course with click-through simulations. Gus is considering splitting it into two parts delivered over multiple days to avoid cognitive overload.

### Source Material (SharePoint)

| Location | Content |
|---|---|
| `Training → Mark's Recordings → SFDC Intro Overview` | Core Salesforce walkthrough |
| `Training → Mark's Recordings → Systems & Tools Sales Ops` | Salesforce + adjacent tools |
| `Salesforce CPQ` folder | Quoting-specific how-to videos (Create a Quote, Term Upgrades, CPQ Offsetters) |

> Focus on anything labeled SFDC or CPQ; skip unrelated tools (e.g., ZoomInfo).

### SME Contacts

- **Abby** — Salesforce administrator; owns the tech stack; can grant access and provide technical guidance
- **Erin** — Account Executive; highly proficient in Salesforce; available as a secondary resource

**Next step:** Isalia to review source videos, then schedule a working session with Abby and Erin.

---

## Timeline & Content

### January 11 Launch

- **Status:** Aspirational ("shoot for the stars") — not a hard deadline
- **Rationale:** SKO (Jan 10–12) is focused on a new cyber product and new comp plan; SOAR modules are not a featured agenda item
- **Realistic first use:** February, when the first new-hire cohort is expected

### Video Scripts & B-Roll

- Gus will use the Jan 10–12 SKO to record authentic video content in person
- Participants: sales reps, CSMs, leadership, marketing
- Content goals: welcome/intro scripts, award ceremony B-roll, leadership talking-head segments
- Marketing will also capture content for LinkedIn
- Isalia to review existing scripts and send feedback; Gus may involve marketing on script quality

### Images

- **Preferred:** Authentic images sourced from Agility's internal folders (some restricted to IT-controlled SharePoint) and marketing
- **Fallback:** AI-generated images where authentic ones are unavailable
- Gus has no strong stylistic preference (realistic vs. illustrated) for AI-generated images
- Gus to coordinate with marketing contact for original JPEGs from existing decks
