# SOAR Course Sync — 2025-12-19

## Overview

End-of-year sync with Gus Donelson (Agility Recovery) covering SOAR course development status, the Storyline Module 8 pilot, SKO video strategy for the January 11–13 Phoenix event, and graphic design feedback on the Six Pillars and SOAR visuals. Next meeting scheduled for December 30.

**Attendees:** Mark Hope, Isalia Ramirez (Asymmetric); Gus Donelson (Agility Recovery)

## Course Development Status

### Approved & Final (5 courses)
- Agility Industry
- Advantage Products 1 & 2
- Testing
- The Story
- Vertical 1

### Pending Gus Review (3 courses)
- **Vertical 2** — Isalia made requested changes (pain point / solution separation) and republished to Review360 this morning. Gus has not yet reviewed the updated version.
- **Advanced Communications** (listed in source as "Presentation Communication Skills") — No feedback submitted yet.
- **Post-Sale Follow-Up** — No feedback submitted yet.

### On Hold
- **Prospect and Research** — May be dropped entirely; no decision made.

### Up Next in Queue
- The Agility Way
- The Six Pillars

## Storyline Pilot — Module 8

Isalia is developing Module 8 in Storyline as a lower-complexity pilot before tackling the remaining four Storyline courses. Working on her husband's laptop with a Spanish keyboard (a Bluetooth keyboard is planned). The goal is to establish shared style and direction for Storyline work across the project.

> "Give you a little, kind of cut the gums on one that's less complex, if you will, before we get into some of the other ones." — Gus

## Technical Issues

### Rise "Continue" Button Bug
- Gus observed the Continue button occasionally disappearing between lessons rather than advancing to the next lesson. The issue was inconsistent — not present on all courses.
- Isalia deleted and re-added the button in the flagged lesson as a workaround; could not reproduce the issue on her end.
- Likely a Review360 platform bug rather than a content error.
- **LMS exit button:** Separate from this issue — a standard exit button will appear in the final SCORM/LMS export and is unrelated.

### Course Imagery
- Finding customer-specific images (e.g., "California local government," "Gulf Coast regional bank") is difficult because Operations photos are not labeled by customer name.
- Gus received access to a new Operations image folder today and will search it.
- Current placeholder images are considered visually acceptable for the initial launch; specific images can be improved in a future iteration.

## SKO Video Strategy

**Event:** Sales Kickoff (SKO), January 11–13, Phoenix, AZ — ~25 attendees, executive leadership present. Marketing person on-site for recording.

### Welcome & Graduation Videos
- **Approach:** Unscripted "drive-by" recordings with executive leadership.
- Gus will give leaders a high-level goal (e.g., "welcome new hires, get excited") and let them speak freely.
- Rationale: Executives rarely follow scripts anyway; free-flow produces more authentic results.
- Editing team will shape the raw footage into final cuts.

### Day in the Life Video
- **Status: On hold.** Hybrid audience (some in-person, some remote) makes a unified recording impractical.

### B-Roll
- Isalia to brainstorm a B-roll shot list for the marketing person to capture at the SKO — beyond standard event/presentation shots.
- Ideas should account for the resort setting and small-team context (~25 people).

## Graphic Design Feedback

### Six Pillars Graphic (Gears)
- Current "gears" graphic is acceptable but not compelling. Gus is not obsessed with it.
- **Requested revision:** Remove the "pillar" text label and instead name each gear directly with the pillar title. Text length may be a constraint.
- Concept of gears working together is sound; execution needs refinement. May revisit with team feedback after launch.

### SOAR / L.E.A.R.N. Graphic
- Graphic is strong and aligns well with Agility branding. Gus likes it.
- Designer provided two versions (one with full training text, one without).
- **Requested revision:** Strip down to just the SOAR acronym circle with the five labels (Listen, Empathize, Ask, Relate, Navigate) placed on an outer ring — no additional descriptive text. Intended as a standalone visual reference that learners can internalize.

## Action Items

| Owner | Item |
|---|---|
| Gus | Review Vertical 2 in Review360; check Continue navigation; send feedback to Isalia |
| Gus | Review Advanced Communications (Presentation Communication Skills) in Review360 |
| Gus | Review Post-Sale Follow-Up in Review360 |
| Gus | Email designer: simplify Six Pillars gears graphic (label gears directly, remove "pillar" text) |
| Gus | Email designer: SOAR graphic — acronym + L.E.A.R.N. titles on outer ring only, no body text |
| Gus | Search new Operations image folder for customer-specific photos |
| Isalia | Brainstorm B-roll shot list for SKO; send to Gus |
| Isalia | Review SKO video scripts (Co-pilot generated drafts) |
| Isalia | Send Co-pilot course to Gus for review next week |
| Both | Meet Tuesday, December 30 — 12:00–1:00 PM CT |

---

## Key Decisions

- **Unscripted SKO videos:** Gus will not provide scripts to executive leadership for Welcome/Graduation videos. Editors will work with raw footage.
- **Day in the Life video is on hold** due to hybrid audience complexity.
- **Prospect and Research course may be dropped** from the project scope entirely.
- **Module 8 as Storyline pilot:** Confirmed approach for establishing team style before tackling more complex Storyline courses.
- **No meeting the week of December 22** — both parties taking holiday time.
