# Bluepoint Budget Performance — 2026-01-09

## Overview

As of the January 9, 2026 check-in, the Bluepoint account is pacing significantly over budget for the current period. This was identified via the [[wiki/tools/x-ray|X-Ray]] budget pacing chart during a review with Karly Oykhman.

## Budget Status

| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Target spend (to date) | $584 |
| Actual spend (to date) | $838 |
| Variance | +$254 over target |
| Projected end-of-period overspend | ~$800 |

The dotted target line in X-Ray showed spend should be at $584; actual spend of $838 puts the account on a trajectory to finish approximately $800 over the total period budget if the pace is not corrected.

## Required Action

Karly Oykhman is responsible for reviewing the Bluepoint ad spend and adjusting pacing to bring the account back in line before the end of the billing period.

- [ ] Review Bluepoint budget pacing in X-Ray and ad platforms (@Karly Oykhman)
- [ ] Identify which campaigns or channels are driving the overspend
- [ ] Reduce or pause spend as needed to correct trajectory

## Related Issues

### X-Ray Access Blocked (403 Error)

At the time of this review, Karly was unable to access Bluepoint data in X-Ray directly due to a `403 Forbidden` permissions error surfaced in the browser console. Mark Hope identified this as a permissions loop in the X-Ray system and committed to fixing it over the weekend.

- [ ] Fix Bluepoint X-Ray 403 permission error; log in as Karly to verify access (@Mark Hope)

Until the permission issue is resolved, Karly cannot independently monitor budget pacing in X-Ray. Mark shared his screen during the call to surface the budget data shown above.

## X-Ray Budget Pacing Feature

The budget pacing chart in X-Ray plots actual cumulative spend against a target spend curve for the period. A gap above the dotted target line indicates overpacing. This view is available under the client's account in X-Ray → Overview.
