# Google Ads Account Credit Card Issue

## Overview

During the weekly ad review call on 2025-10-14, the Crazy Lenny's Google Ads account was found to be completely inactive due to a failed payment method. Ad delivery had halted as of approximately October 11th (Saturday), resulting in several days of zero impressions and zero clicks before the issue was caught in review.

The account otherwise appeared healthy — campaigns were enabled, goals were well-configured (no junk conversions like page views), and performance metrics prior to the cliff were solid.

## What Happened

While reviewing campaign performance, a sharp drop-off in the graph was noticed starting October 11th. Upon investigation, Google Ads displayed the message:

> **"Your ads aren't running. Make a payment."**

This confirmed the root cause: the credit card on file had failed, and Google paused all ad delivery automatically.

## Impact

- **Ads down:** ~3 days of zero delivery before discovery (October 11–14)
- **Campaigns affected:** All active Crazy Lenny's Google Ads campaigns
- **Revenue impact:** Unknown; no impressions or clicks during the outage period

## Resolution

**Immediate action required:** Update the payment method (credit card) in the Crazy Lenny's Google Ads account billing settings.

This was flagged to Karly Oykhman, who manages this account, via direct message from Melissa Cusumano during the call.

## Action Items

- [ ] **Karly Oykhman** — Update credit card information in Crazy Lenny's Google Ads billing settings to restore ad delivery immediately

## Notes

- The account's conversion goals were reviewed and found to be in good shape — local-intent goals like "Get Directions" were properly configured, and no low-value goals (e.g., page views) were present. No changes needed on that front.
- Consider setting up billing alerts or a backup payment method to prevent recurrence.
