# Service Page Redesign Review — 2025-11-07

## Overview

Melissa walked Isahaque through client (Roxanna's) feedback on the L'Amarie Beauty service page. The feedback constitutes a significant redesign — Melissa is pushing back on scope — but the work is moving forward. The session also confirmed team allocation: Isahaque owns L'Amarie Beauty and Lula B2B; new developer Aki takes general landing pages.

**Attendees:** Melissa Cusumano, Isahaque Mahmud
**Related client:** wiki/clients/current/lamarie/_index

---

## Key Decisions

- The service page changes are being treated as a redesign (scope creep flagged internally), but work will proceed.
- Isahaque will lead both L'Amarie Beauty and Lula B2B projects.
- Aki (new developer) will handle general landing page development; he is not assigned to LMB or Lula B2B.
- Sam (previous landing page specialist) has been let go due to insufficient work volume.
- Category filter will be built and shown to the client for approval before launch as the fix for staging site load times.
- User-generated section may be hidden until the client provides final details.

## Service Page Redesign — Detailed Changes

### Copy Updates

| Current Label | New Label |
|---|---|
| "Healing" | *(rename to)* `Healing` — confirm exact wording |
| "Frequency" | *(rename to)* `Frequency` — confirm exact wording |
| "Pricing" | `Estimated Investment` |
| "Package" | Remove; replace with `Price Range` |
| "Payment Option" | `Financing Options` |

- Remove all **semicolons** from copy throughout the page.
- All body copy must match the product page style: **lowercase and bold**.
- Section titles (e.g., "Key Ingredients") must be **capitalized**.

### Accordion Sections

The following items should be implemented as collapsible accordions:

- `Estimated Investment` — client to provide content
- `Financing Options` — Cherry retailer info goes inside when expanded
- `Clinical Details` — expands to reveal sub-items:
 - Potential Risks
 - Post-Care
 - Timeline for Results
 - FDA Approval Links
- `Key Ingredients` — expands to reveal Key Ingredients and Technology sub-sections

### Hidden Sections

- **Membership and Maintenance** — build but hide for now; easier to toggle visibility than to rebuild later.
- **User-Generated Section** — hide until client confirms details. In the meantime, swap the content order within the section.

### Before/After Slider

- Implement a **slider component** for before/after images.
- Client (Roxanna) will provide photos and will mark availability in the source Excel document.

### Source Document (Excel) Notes

- Roxanna's color-coding is **inconsistent** — do not rely solely on color to determine which copy applies to which variant. Read carefully.
- Standard fields apply across all variants; variant-specific fields change per service.
- Some sections (e.g., Ideal Candidate, Prep for Service) have no content yet — leave placeholders.
- When Roxanna marks that a before/after photo is available, she will note it inline in the document.

## Performance Fix

**Problem:** Slow load times on the staging site.

**Solution:** Implement a **category filter** (approach Isahaque previously demonstrated) to reduce the volume of content loaded at once.

**Process:** Build the filter → present to client for review → get approval before launch.

> *Note: Load times are expected to improve further once the site moves off staging.*

## Action Items

| Owner | Task | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Isahaque | Implement all service page redesign feedback (copy, accordions, hidden sections, slider) | Monday (target Tuesday meeting) |
| Isahaque | Build category filter for client review | Monday |
| Melissa | Send Isahaque the Fathom recording with links to Excel and Canva source documents | Immediately after call |

---

## Team Allocation (as of this meeting)

| Developer | Assigned Projects |
|---|---|
| Isahaque | L'Amarie Beauty, Lula B2B |
| Aki | General landing pages (all clients) |
| Raphael | Landing pages (support, especially WordPress builds) |
| Sam | *(departed — insufficient work volume)* |

## Transcript Excerpts

**On scope creep:**
> "I'm pushing back on them to say, this is really a redesign of these pages." — Melissa [00:01:19]

**On the category filter fix:**
> "I think maybe we can use the category filter… Show it. Create it. And see how it looks. And we'll just review it with the client to make sure that that's what they want." — Isahaque / Melissa [00:05:32–00:06:04]

**On team allocation:**
> "For Lamarie Beauty and Lula B2B, maybe I don't need help for our project. You can get [Aki] to the landing page." — Isahaque [00:22:32]

**On Sam's departure:**
> "Sam is gone. He was the specific person we brought on for landing pages, but we just didn't have enough work for him." — Melissa [00:23:41]
