# Claude Pro Rollout

## Overview

Mark purchased a Claude Pro team subscription and has begun inviting the full Asymmetric team. The rollout surfaced during the December 26 sprint planning meeting, where the team discussed Claude's advantages over ChatGPT and shared a concrete example of Claude being used to validate SEO work.

## Rollout Status

- Mark sent Claude Pro invitations to team members; Sebastian confirmed receiving his invite as of the meeting date
- Paul had not yet received an invite as of the meeting and was advised to follow up with Mark directly
- Karly had previously been paying for ChatGPT Pro out of pocket (with Mark reimbursing via receipt); Claude Pro replaces that arrangement

## Why Claude Over ChatGPT

The team compared the two tools during the meeting:

- **Less sycophantic:** Claude is willing to push back and identify problems rather than validating everything as "great"
- **Fewer hallucinations:** Paul noted Claude had improved significantly over the past few months
- **Better for editorial and analytical tasks:** The team found Claude more useful for content review and structured reasoning
- **Limitation noted:** Claude sometimes fails to retrieve content from URLs that ChatGPT can access; the team suggested using both tools situationally

> *"I was impressed by its ability to have an opinion there. I feel like ChatGPT would be like, oh, they all look great."* — Sebastian Gant

## Practical Use Case: SEO Internal Linking Validation

Sebastian demonstrated a high-value use case during the meeting. A developer (Yash) had generated a batch of internal linking suggestions for an Overhead client. Sebastian used Claude to audit the suggestions for navigational logic:

- **Result:** ~75–80% of suggestions were valid; ~20–25% were flagged as illogical (e.g., linking a "Garage Door" keyword to an unrelated page simply because the anchor text matched)
- **Method:** Sebastian described the suggestions to Claude and asked it to evaluate whether each link made navigational sense in context
- **Outcome:** Claude identified the weak suggestions that a human reviewer might have approved on keyword-match alone

Karly noted she had been doing similar manual review by color-coding suggestions in a shared doc (green = approve, red = reject). Claude can accelerate this step significantly.

## Recommended Workflow

When a developer provides internal linking suggestions in bulk:

1. Paste the suggestions into Claude with context about the site and page topics
2. Ask Claude to evaluate whether each link makes navigational sense (not just keyword sense)
3. Use Claude's output as a first-pass filter; apply human judgment for edge cases
4. Communicate approved links back to the developer
