# AHS Thank You Card Redesign

## Overview

The existing AHS thank you card is being redesigned as a **postcard** (front/back format) to serve dual purposes: a handwritten note left with customers after a job, and a directly mailable piece. The redesign incorporates contact information, a Google Reviews CTA, updated copy, and a new icon replacing the shield logo.

This was discussed and scoped during the [[wiki/clients/ahs/meetings/2026-01-13-ahs-marketing-meeting|January 13, 2026 AHS Marketing Meeting]]. Implementation is assigned to Sebastian Gant.

## Design Specifications

### Format
- **Front/back postcard** (not a fold-over card)
- Must include a **stamp area** on the back to allow direct mailing without an envelope
- Ensure the AHS logo/address block is positioned to leave room for a stamp in the upper-right corner

### Logo / Icon
- **Remove** the existing shield logo
- **Replace** with a subtle flower icon — a **daisy or sunflower outline** is preferred (simple, clean outline style)
- The shield was felt to read as a church/religious symbol and does not fit the brand direction for this piece

### Color
- Retain AHS brand blue (dark navy pulled from existing brand assets)
- Dark front with white back creates a striking contrast — this is intentional and approved

### Tagline / Sentiment
> *"It was our pleasure to make your home safer."*

- Include this on the card as the primary warm closing line
- Note: some cards may be sent to businesses rather than homeowners — consider printing a small batch **without** this line for commercial use, with the majority including it

### Contact Information (required)
- **Phone number**
- **Website URL**

### QR Code CTA
- QR code should link directly to the **Google Reviews submission page** for AHS
- Label the QR code clearly so recipients know what they're scanning — suggested language:
  > *"Scan to let us know how we did"* or *"Scan for Google Reviews"*
- Do not leave the QR code unlabeled; customers won't scan without context

## Usage Context

- Handed to customers by the crew at job completion (optionally paired with Gina's handmade flower seed organza bags)
- Can be mailed to past customers (e.g., school training attendees who haven't returned)
- General enough to work across residential and commercial jobs
