## Platform Decisions: Rise vs. Storyline

### Rise (Primary Platform)

The majority of the SOAR course suite is built in Articulate Rise. Rise provides a consistent, responsive layout and integrates with Review360 for client feedback.

**Known Issue — "Continue" Button Bug:** In some lessons, the Continue button fails to advance to the next lesson during Review360 preview. The button disappears but navigation does not trigger. This appears to be intermittent and may be a Review360 platform bug rather than a course authoring error. Workaround: delete and re-add the Continue block in affected lessons. This issue is distinct from the LMS exit button, which is a standard SCORM/LMS feature added at export.

**Navigation Change Applied:** Per client request, the side navigation no longer auto-expands all courses on load. This change was applied globally across all Rise modules.

### Storyline (Pilot — Module 8)

Module 8 was selected as the Storyline pilot because it is less complex than other modules. Goals of the pilot:

- Establish team style and interaction conventions for Storyline builds
- Align client and Asymmetric on visual direction before committing to more complex modules
- Serve as a template reference for the remaining Storyline courses

Four additional courses are planned for Storyline development following the Module 8 pilot.

## Content & Asset Notes

### Course Imagery

Finding customer-specific branded images (e.g., "California local government," "Gulf Coast regional bank") has been difficult because the Operations team's image library is largely unlabeled. Gus has obtained access to a new Operations image folder and is continuing the search.

**Current approach:** Placeholder images are visually acceptable for the initial launch. Specific customer imagery can be updated in a future revision cycle once better-labeled assets are available.

### Graphic Design

#### Six Pillars Graphic

- Current version uses a "gears" metaphor in Agility Recovery brand colors
- Feedback: concept is acceptable but not visually compelling
- **Requested revision:** Remove the "pillar" label text; label each gear directly with the pillar name

#### SOAR / L.E.A.R.N. Graphic

- Current version is strong and aligns well with Agility branding
- Two versions exist: one with full training text, one without
- **Requested revision:** Produce a simplified version showing only the SOAR acronym with the five labels (Listen, Empathize, Ask, Relate, Navigate) placed on an outer ring around the circle — no additional descriptive text

## Approval Workflow

1. Isalia (Asymmetric) publishes updated course to Review360 and notifies Gus
2. Gus reviews in Review360 and leaves comments or approves
3. Isalia addresses feedback and republishes
4. Gus provides final approval
5. Course is marked Final and queued for LMS export

**LMS Export:** Courses will be exported as SCORM files. The LMS platform will add a standard exit button; this is separate from the in-course Continue navigation.
