# American Extractions — Google Ads Account Access Issues

## Overview

As of the September 30, 2025 ad review call, the American Extractions Google Ads campaigns (Stick Packs and ClearMix) had zero impressions and zero clicks despite being nominally "enabled" with a budget set. The root cause identified was an account access/permissions problem: Asymmetric was not listed as a manager or allowed domain on the account, meaning all campaign work was likely being saved in draft mode and never actually going live.

This is a known failure mode in Google Ads — if the agency creating campaigns is not a recognized manager on the account, ads may appear active in the UI but will not serve.

## Root Cause

The American Extractions Google Ads account (account number **9545**) was originally set up under the **Get Found Madison** manager account. Asymmetric was never added as:

- A **manager** on the account
- An **allowed domain**

As a result, campaigns created by the Asymmetric team were effectively in draft/limbo state. No warnings were surfaced by Google — the campaigns simply did not serve.

> "I think what's happening is that everything is like in draft mode because we're not even listed as a manager or anything here." — Mark Hope

## Resolution Options

Two paths were identified during the call:

### Option 1 (Preferred — Fastest): Add Asymmetric to Existing Account
Have **Caitlin** (the account owner) take the following steps in the existing account:
1. Go to **Admin → Access and Security → Managers**
2. Add Asymmetric as a **manager**
3. Add `asymmetric.pro` as an **allowed domain**

This preserves any existing campaign history and is the lower-effort path.

### Option 2 (Fallback): Create New Account Under Asymmetric Manager
If Option 1 is not feasible or does not resolve the issue:
1. Navigate to the **Asymmetric Marketing manager account (account #8152)**
2. Create a new Google Ads account for American Extractions under that manager
3. Obtain American Extractions' credit card to attach to the new account
4. Rebuild campaigns from scratch under the new account

> "If we start completely fresh, we can do it. We'll just need to call and get their credit card number." — Mark Hope

## Related Campaign Issues

Even after access is resolved, the following campaign-level issues need attention:

- **No stick pack landing page visible on the main website** — a page exists at `americanextractions.com/stick-pack` but it is low quality and needs to be rebuilt on the website (not in Go High Level). Carly and Ben were flagged to address this.
- **Dynamic keyword insertion** in the existing responsive search ad may be contributing to non-delivery. A simple, static search ad should be tested as a fallback.
- **Conversion goals** need to be set to Campaign Specific, optimizing for **Submit Lead Forms** and **Phone Calls** (not account defaults).
- **Bid strategy** should be set to **Maximize Clicks** with a **$2 max CPC** cap while the campaign gets initial data.

## Action Items

| Action | Owner | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Add Asymmetric as manager + allowed domain on account 9545 | Caitlin (client) | Mark to send request via message |
| Create simple static search ad (no dynamic keyword insertion) | Gilbert | Test alongside existing responsive ad |
| Rebuild Stick Pack landing page on website | Carly / Ben | Not in Go High Level; URL: `americanextractions.com/stick-pack` |
| If no impressions by EOD, open a Google support case | Gilbert | Escalate if access fix doesn't resolve |
| If account migration needed, create new account under manager #8152 | Gilbert | Requires client credit card |
