# AviaryAI Google Ads Landing Page Strategy

## Overview

As of late February 2026, AviaryAI's Google Ads campaigns were live but directing traffic to the homepage — a recognized inefficiency. The agreed strategy is to pivot to dedicated landing pages aligned with target verticals (Credit Unions, Banks, FinTech), which are being developed in parallel with the organic SEO vertical pages. Until dedicated pages are live, ad spend is being kept deliberately low.

## Problem: Homepage as Ad Destination

Google Ads campaigns launched approximately three days before the 2026-02-25 sync. All traffic was routed to the homepage (`helloaviary.ai`), which creates two compounding issues:

1. **Budget waste** — Generic homepage traffic has low conversion intent relative to keyword-targeted visitors.
2. **Message mismatch** — Visitors arriving from vertical- or use-case-specific search terms land on a broad product page rather than a tailored value proposition.

## Solution: Dedicated Vertical Landing Pages

### Page Strategy

Rather than building standalone ad-specific pages, the decision was made to align landing pages with the organic SEO vertical structure. This means each vertical page serves double duty:

- **Organic:** Targets vertical-specific keywords (e.g., "AI voice for credit unions") to improve search ranking
- **Paid:** Acts as the final URL destination for Google Ads campaigns targeting the same vertical

Verticals in scope:
- Credit Unions *(primary focus, first to be built)*
- Banks
- FinTech

Use cases (Collections, Dormancy, Onboarding) will be **integrated into** the vertical pages rather than existing as separate pages, keeping the user journey clean.

### Content Requirements

Each vertical landing page must include:

- SEO-optimized copy mapped to target keywords (drafted by Sebastian Gant, reviewed by Justin Dwyer)
- **Playable audio demos** embedded directly on the page, replicating the homepage functionality
  - Webflow previously had CDN limitations for MP3 hosting; this was resolved in the last redesign
  - Developers can replicate the homepage audio component and swap in vertical-specific MP3s provided by Justin
- Integrated use case descriptions relevant to the vertical

## Google Ads Console Issue (Operational Note)

During the sync, Justin Dwyer was unable to view active ads in the Google Ads console. Root cause: a browser caching issue affecting the Google Ads UI.

**Workaround:**
- Open Google Ads in an incognito window, **or**
- Press `F12` to open the browser console, then clear console/cache data and reload

This appears to be a known intermittent issue with the Google Ads interface as of early 2026.
