# Flynn Audio Google Ads Account Setup

## Overview

The Flynn Audio Google Ads account required a setup and manager access configuration to make it visible and manageable within the Asymmetric Marketing Google Ads manager account. This issue surfaced during the [[meetings/2026-01-05-team-stand-up|2026-01-05 Team Stand-Up]] when Gilbert flagged that the account was not appearing in the manager view.

## Problem

The Flynn Audio Google Ads account was not visible under the Asymmetric Marketing manager account. This blocked Gilbert from implementing ad updates requested by the client contact, Carly.

## Resolution

The account had a new link that had not yet been connected to the Asymmetric manager account. The fix required two steps:

1. **Gilbert** sends the new Flynn Audio Google Ads account link to Mark.
2. **Gilbert** grants **Asymmetric Marketing** manager-level access to the Flynn Audio account so it appears in the manager dashboard.

Once manager access is granted, the account will be visible to the full team through the Asymmetric Marketing manager account.

## Standard Process Note

When a client creates a new Google Ads account or migrates to a new one, the account must be explicitly linked to the Asymmetric Marketing manager account before it is visible or manageable by the team. The client-side contact (or the account owner) must initiate the manager access grant from within their account settings.

**Steps to link a new client Google Ads account:**
1. Obtain the new account link or Customer ID from the client or account owner.
2. From within the client's Google Ads account, navigate to **Admin → Access and security → Managers** and send a link request to the Asymmetric Marketing manager account.
3. Confirm the account appears in the Asymmetric Marketing manager dashboard before proceeding with any campaign work.
