# Overhead Door — Google Ads Verification Issue

## Overview

As of the December 2025 marketing review, Google Ads performance for [[wiki/clients/overhead-door-madison/_index|Overhead Door Madison]] is constrained by an unresolved account verification issue. The campaign is running in a limited capacity, and Asymmetric is investigating a potential workaround to unlock fuller campaign functionality.

This issue is distinct from the Bing and Meta campaigns, both of which are operating normally and delivering results.

## Current Status

- **Google Ads is live but limited.** The verification issue prevents the account from operating at full capability — specific ad types or targeting features may be restricted.
- **Bing Ads is the primary PPC performer.** With 15 conversions at ~$28 CPA over the last 30 days, Bing is carrying the paid search load while Google remains constrained.
- **Meta Ads is running for brand awareness.** Delivering high traffic volume at ~$0.40/click, serving a complementary role to search.
- **Workaround under investigation.** Asymmetric committed to researching whether a verification workaround exists to expand what can be done within the Google Ads account.

## Background

During the in-person meeting earlier in 2025, the team aligned on wanting to grow the Google Ads presence. The verification issue has been a persistent blocker since then. The December 2025 meeting reaffirmed the desire to resolve it, noting that expanded Google Ads capability would complement the broader 2026 SEO-first strategy — particularly as PPC landing pages migrate to the main website to consolidate traffic signals.

## Impact

- Google Ads is not contributing meaningfully to lead generation while the issue persists.
- The traffic spike observed in late 2025 is attributed primarily to Meta, Bing, and SEO improvements — not Google Ads.
- Resolving verification would open the door to expanded search and display campaigns, which could amplify the SEO momentum already underway.
