# BluePoint HubSpot Access & Email Automation

## Overview

During the November 2025 marketing review call, a HubSpot access issue was identified and resolved. Chris (Asymmetric's email automation contact) had been inadvertently removed from super admin status, blocking progress on pending email automation updates — including the stadium automation campaign. Access was restored prior to the call, unblocking the work.

## Access Issue

- **Root cause:** Wade (BluePoint) received a notice that a sales consultant was being bumped from super admin. Assuming Chris was done with his work, Wade downgraded the seat — inadvertently removing Chris's access.
- **Resolution:** Mike granted elevated access, restoring Chris's admin permissions before the call concluded.
- **Key takeaway:** Asymmetric requires at least one seat at the super admin level at all times to avoid being blocked on automation work.

> *"We need at least one seat at that upper admin so we can help you with that kind of stuff… ideally we shouldn't get bumped."* — Melissa Cusumano

## Stadium Automation Campaign

The stadium automation email campaign was pending at the time of the call, blocked by two issues:

1. **HubSpot access** — resolved (see above)
2. **Image and logo updates** — still in progress at call time

### Image Status
- Current images are **low resolution** and in some cases show **competitor machines** rather than BluePoint's branded Reverse ATM.
- Decision: **Use current images for the urgent stadium campaign** rather than delay for a photoshoot.
- Future action: Schedule a professional photoshoot of BluePoint's branded Reverse ATM to build a proper asset library for future campaigns.

### Logo Update
- Mike requested the **dual "Go Cashless" logo** be added to HubSpot marketing email templates.
- This update was queued as part of the new campaign setup and was to be applied once Chris's access was restored.

## Email Asset Distribution — Attachment vs. Link

A related discussion arose around how to distribute one-pagers via email:

- **Option A:** Direct attachment to email
- **Option B:** Link to a hosted/downloadable file (on the website or within HubSpot's file library)

HubSpot supports tracking downloads when files are hosted within its file system, giving visibility into whether a prospect has opened or downloaded a document.

**Decision:** A/B test both methods to determine which drives higher engagement (open rate, click rate). Wade suggested checking whether existing data or best-practice research could inform the decision before running a full test.

## Action Items

| Owner | Action |
|---|---|
| Chris (Asymmetric) | Proceed with stadium automation campaign now that access is restored |
| Chris (Asymmetric) | Apply dual "Go Cashless" logo update to HubSpot email templates |
| Wade & Mike (BluePoint) | Schedule professional photoshoot of branded Reverse ATM for future email assets |
| Melissa (Asymmetric) | Research attachment vs. link best practices; set up A/B test for one-pager distribution |
