# BluepointATM ZoomInfo List Strategy

ZoomInfo is the primary source for building targeted prospect lists at BluePoint ATM. This article captures the integration approach, download limits, field mapping considerations, and how ZoomInfo lists feed into HubSpot campaigns.

## Download Limits and Access

- BluePoint's ZoomInfo subscription allows approximately **700 contact downloads per month**
- Each download includes full contact profiles: name, address, phone number, email, company, and additional enrichment fields
- Access is managed through a shared login (originally under Wade's email); Mike Stebbins is taking over primary use and should update the two-factor authentication phone number to his own

## Field Mapping to HubSpot

ZoomInfo exports contain more fields than HubSpot's default schema. Before importing a list, the team should:

1. **Download a sample export** from ZoomInfo and review all available columns
2. **Identify which fields to retain** — not all ZoomInfo fields need to be preserved
3. **Create custom HubSpot properties** for any fields that don't exist natively (e.g., industry sub-segment, revenue range, employee count)
4. **Map columns** during the HubSpot import wizard to ensure data lands in the correct properties

> *"We have to decide what things you want to keep... do a download, see what it looks like, and then decide which of those fields you want to ensure you keep."* — Mark Hope

Custom fields already in use or under discussion include:
- **Vertical** (entertainment, stadiums/arenas, water parks, zoos, etc.)
- **Decision Maker** (yes/no)
- **Contact Type** (lead, customer, vendor, partner)
- **Last Contacted**

See [[wiki/knowledge/crm/hubspot-custom-fields]] for the broader field strategy.

## List Segmentation Approach

ZoomInfo lists should be pulled with a specific campaign target in mind rather than as a general download. Confirmed and planned segments:

| Segment | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Entertainment (general) | Completed | ~700 contacts; used for direct mail + email automation |
| Stadiums & Arenas | Planned — next | NCAA Div I/II/III, minor leagues, semi-pro; thousands of prospects |
| Water Parks & Amusement Parks | Planned — following | Seasonal timing: now through March is budget season |
| Zoos / Tourist Attractions | Imported, not activated | List exists in HubSpot; no campaigns sent yet |
| Colorado Cannabis | Completed | Pulled from state licensee website, not ZoomInfo |
| Roadies | Completed | Provided directly by client |

For geographic targeting, consider filtering by states with cashless payment mandates to prioritize prospects with regulatory urgency.

## Integration with Campaign Workflow

Once a ZoomInfo list is imported into HubSpot:

1. Contacts are tagged with their source list (visible via the **Source** field on each contact record)
2. The list is enrolled in the relevant email automation sequence (e.g., the stadium/arena drip campaign)
3. Mike Stebbins uses HubSpot views and filters to identify high-engagement contacts (multiple email opens, website visits) for direct outreach — calls, LinkedIn, personalized email

The 700-contact monthly cap means list pulls should be coordinated with the campaign calendar to avoid waste. BluePoint and Asymmetric should align on the next segment target before pulling.
