# American Extractions Website Launch

Website redesign and launch project for [[wiki/clients/american-extractions/_index|American Extractions]], covering homepage, products/services pages, technology page, and news page. As of the Oct 13 2025 sync, the site was cleared for launch by end of week pending a small set of final edits.

## Status

**Ready to launch** — final content edits outstanding (tech section copy, homepage video, news page image). All structural and layout changes complete.

## Page-by-Page Notes

### Homepage

- Product category labels updated to: **Gummies, Tinctures, Drink Mixes, Ingredient Powders** (removed "ClearMix" as a category label; removed "bulk" from headers)
- Certifications section removed
- Homepage video placeholder in place — Caitlin and Mark to finalize video separately; may swap in a better static image if video isn't ready before launch
- Headline capitalization standardized to title case across all headings
- Partner section: subtitle removed, navigation arrows removed for a cleaner look

### Products & Services

- Header image updated to a manufacturing-style photo (replacing the "robot lady" image)
- Product images cropped to landscape orientation
- CTA buttons changed from "Contact Us" to "Request More Information"
- Certifications block moved up within the section for better flow
- "Bulk" removed from headers; word retained in body copy for SEO value (appears as a search term in Google Search Console)
- **Ingredient Powders** page: "bulk ingredient powders" header updated to "Ingredient Powders"
- Organic ingredients icon updated — sparkle icon replaced with a standard leaf
- Take 9 (house brand) imagery removed from the Gummies page
- Gummies page: placeholder image left in place; real product photography needed (in-sugar tray shots or stick pack images when available)
- Tinctures page: potency icon changed to a strength-meter style; carrier oils copy corrected from "ACT" to **MCT**

### Technology Page

- Feature icons condensed from 6 to 4
- Bottom three icons (fast-acting, potent, bioavailability) had significant overlap — decision made to consolidate:
  - Keep **True Nano** as a primary call-out
  - Keep **Fast-Acting** and **Potent** as separate icons (rewritten to avoid duplication)
  - Remove "Maximize Potency" / "Better Bioavailability" as standalone items (these are benefits of Nano, not separate features)
- **Caitlin to rewrite copy** for the True Nano, fast-acting, and potent icons before developer implements
- Extra whitespace at bottom of section to be removed

### About Us

- "Full-Service Expertise" header added to match homepage section label (with hyphen: "Full-Service Expertise")
- Certifications badge removed
- Sub-navigation links now highlight correctly on click

### News Page

- Image updated — decision: use a close-cropped top-down shot of gummies in sugar trays (from existing photo library); swap for stick pack image once available
- Article CTA buttons changed to "Read More"
- Blog articles to be carried over from existing site

### Contact Us

- No structural changes; reviewed and approved as-is
