# Citrus America Dealer Landing Page

A dedicated landing page built for Citrus America's dealer and distributor outreach, designed to capture inbound inquiries from printed collateral (dealer flyers) via a trackable QR code.

## Status

As of the December 2024 monthly call, the page is **95% complete**. Remaining work is limited to finalizing form dropdown options and two minor UI fixes.

## Purpose

The dealer landing page exists as a separate, trackable entry point distinct from the main website contact form. The rationale:

- Dealers and distributors receive printed flyers; the QR code on those flyers links here
- A dedicated URL and QR code allows the team to measure whether the flyer is actually driving engagement
- Form submissions route to `sales@citrusamerica.com`, consistent with other sales inquiries

## Form Configuration

- **Dropdown fields:** "Type of Business" and "What are you looking for?" — placeholder options were still generic as of Dec 4; Miriam committed to providing final dropdown values EOD that day
- **Submission destination:** `sales@citrusamerica.com`
- **Tracking:** Melissa to generate a trackable QR code to embed in the dealer flyer

## UI Fixes Identified (Dec 2024)

| Issue | Resolution |
|---|---|
| Required field indicator text color (red on dark background) causes visual vibration | Change required field text color to white; use asterisk + footnote pattern instead |
| "Get a free consultation" button is squished by the background/orange peel image | Fix button layout so it renders cleanly without overlap |

Both fixes were noted as straightforward and expected to be resolved before launch.

## Promotion Plan

- The QR code will be embedded in the **dealer flyer** (Melissa to update the flyer once the code is generated)
- Initial distribution strategy is relationship-driven: Miriam noted the team will not mass-print and blast flyers immediately, but will send printed materials to dealers once a relationship is established
