# Didion Homepage Hero Banner — Copy & Direction

Direction set during the [[wiki/clients/didion/_index|Didion]] PLMA trade show prep call to update the homepage hero banner in support of the Korn Masa and Arepa Flour product launch.

## Approved Direction

### Visual

Use the **tortilla image** as the hero visual. Rationale from Diana Henry: tortilla sales are expected to outpace chip sales initially, making it the stronger choice for driving early conversions.

### Copy

### Rationale

- The **headline** provides a compelling, broad hook that works across product lines.
- The **subhead** uses industry-standard terminology ("masa," "arepa," "flower") to support SEO — these are the terms buyers and search engines expect to find.
- Diana noted that the "Culinary Collection" framing may or may not be a long-term brand direction (pending CEO confirmation), so it was intentionally excluded from the hero copy.

## Design Notes

- The banner should be a **single, full-width hero image** (not a rotating carousel).
- Melissa will produce **two design options** based on the agreed copy for Diana to review.
- The existing placeholder on the Didion site is not representative of the final build; the finished banner will be a full-bleed hero.
