Sync to assess SOAR eLearning module progress after a brief gap. Courses 1–10 are out for review, with Gus having cleared most of them. The Copilot module (Course 8) received scope approval despite running longer than the standard target. A new Salesforce interactive course was elevated to top priority based on ongoing user errors. The January 11 SKO launch was reframed as aspirational, with February new-hire onboarding as the realistic first use.
| Decision | Detail |
|---|---|
| Copilot module approved at 30–35 min | Extended length accepted to accommodate a critical Storyline simulation; Gus will schedule it as a standalone pre-session assignment |
| Salesforce Storyline course is now top priority | Passive video training is failing — reps are making critical errors in Salesforce; an interactive click-through course is needed urgently |
| Jan 11 SKO launch is aspirational, not hard | No new hires expected until February; SKO focus is a new cyber product and comp plan, not SOAR rollout |
| SKO (Jan 10–12) used for authentic content capture | Gus will record video scripts and B-roll in person with leadership, CSMs, and marketing; replaces placeholder AI images and generic scripts |
| Storyline on Mac is not viable | Confirmed: Storyline requires a PC or virtual desktop; Isalia will use her husband's Windows machine |

Problem: Storyline is not installable on macOS without a virtual desktop (confirmed by Gus's Storyline contact).
Solution: Isalia will develop on a Windows machine.
Approved scope: ~30–35 minutes total, including a Storyline simulation block.
After completing the course, reps will join a virtual session where Gus will:
- Run Q&A and introduce Prompt Cowboy for prompt-building practice
- Have all reps simultaneously research a shared prospect (e.g., a credit union and a supply-chain company)
- Debrief on differences in results, prompts used, and follow-up queries
"What prompts did you use to get that information? Where did you click through? What secondary prompts did you use?" — Gus
Problem: Current training consists of passive video walkthroughs. Reps are making repeated critical errors in Salesforce, consuming significant management time.
"My whole week has been flexed to figure out how to make them stop making these errors in Salesforce." — Gus
Solution: Build an interactive Storyline course with click-through simulations. Gus is considering splitting it into two parts delivered over multiple days to avoid cognitive overload.
