Overview

During a check-in call on October 8, 2025, Mark Hope flagged a critical issue with Citrus America's Google Ads performance: the current homepage being used as the ad landing page is severely undermining conversion rates. The problem was surfaced and validated using an AI-powered (ChatGPT) analysis of the landing page URL, which returned uniformly negative feedback. This has been a known issue for some time, but the AI analysis added urgency and concrete evidence.

Key Finding: AI Landing Page Analysis

Mark used ChatGPT to evaluate client landing pages by passing in URLs directly. The results were stark:

"You can say to ChatGPT, look at this URL and tell me about the landing page quality, and it just immediately pukes. It says it's terrible, it's all red X's." — Mark Hope
