A brief marketing sync with Steve (client) covering four main areas: signage redesign under new city ordinances, paused Google Ads campaigns, the stalled eFlow project, and April content in progress. The call ran short — Steve had a store full of customers — but all key items were touched.
Attendees:
- Steve Lindenau (Crazy Lenny's)
- Melissa Cusumano (Asymmetric)
- Karly Oykhman (Asymmetric)
- Avokerie Onorimuo (Asymmetric)
New city ordinances cap the main sign at 80 sq ft, down from the existing sign at 145 sq ft. The current sign cannot remain as-is if it comes down.
Two vendors are preparing cost estimates and design drawings for two options:
1. New face for the existing box — a refresh of the current cabinet sign
2. New channel letters — individual illuminated letters mounted to the building
Steve noted that since the sign is viewed from the highway rather than up close, visual impact from a distance matters more than fine detail.
Branding note: The existing "Electric Bikes" signage includes a lightning bolt graphic that should be carried into the new design for consistency. Steve will search for the original graphic file. If it can't be located, Melissa will photograph the existing sign so the design team can replicate it.
Timeline: Signage options and drawings to be sent to Steve by the following week's meeting.
Campaigns remain paused. Steve described revenue as "sputtering" — starting to move but not yet stable enough to justify resuming ad spend. Asymmetric will wait for an explicit green light before reactivating.
No progress since the last discussion. Steve's business partner, who is based in Taiwan, is visiting in approximately 10 days. The eFlow project will be discussed during that visit. Karly offered to join that meeting to walk through marketing strategy — Steve to coordinate scheduling.
Blogs and email draft for April are in progress. Karly expects to have drafts over to Steve and Evan by the following week at the latest. Some new blog posts were also published on the day of the call.
Karly had planned to walk through a website analytics review live but deferred to email given Steve's time constraints. Summary to be sent via email.

(On reactivating Google Ads)Steve: "I'm not sure many people do [think about Earth Day], and I'm not being a curmudgeon, but I don't think many people think about it."
(On the Earth Day promo proposal)Steve: "The guy who I'm partnered with, who lives in Taiwan, is coming in like 10 days and we're going to talk about that then."
(On eFlow project status)Steve: "Sorry. We got a store full of people and I'm wanting it back out there."
(Closing — a positive signal on foot traffic)
