Overview
During a March 2026 strategy sync, the team identified that two recently added Doudlah Farms products — einkorn flour and Bluehaven — were not appearing in the Google Shopping feed. The feed is expected to update automatically via product sync, but the new products were not surfacing in Merchant Center, blocking them from ad campaigns.
Problem
- Doudlah Farms' Google Shopping feed showed 54 products at the time of the meeting
- Einkorn flour and Bluehaven were added to the store but did not appear in the Merchant Center feed
- Mark searched for both products in the feed and confirmed neither was found
- It is unclear whether the feed failed to pull the new products automatically or whether there was a configuration error on the product side
Mark Hope: "No, it doesn't find it… check that feed."
Karly Oykhman: "Like I said, I think it's just one, or maybe Bluehaven has been new-ish, too."
Context
- Mark had set up a parent Merchant Center account with subaccounts for Doudlah Farms and Old World
- All products were routing through the Google Shopping Feed data source; no products were appearing under the individual sub-feed configurations
- The team noted that Doudlah Farms had experienced slow Merchant Center review times in the past
