Transfer Process

The transfer follows a standard GoDaddy domain unlock and auth code flow:

1. Unlock the domain — In GoDaddy, navigate to the domain and toggle the transfer lock off.
2. Obtain the auth code — After unlocking, GoDaddy will issue an authorization code (EPP code). It is a multi-character string with symbols. GoDaddy may attempt to dissuade the transfer; proceed past the confirmation prompt.
3. Send auth code to Mark — Karly retrieves the code from Lucy and forwards it to Mark.
4. Mark initiates the pull — Mark uses the auth code to pull the domain into Asymmetric's registrar account.

Note: The unlock step requires identity verification tied to Lucy's GoDaddy account. Karly needs to coordinate with Lucy directly to complete this step, as the verification code will be sent to Lucy's phone number on file.
