FinWellU Website Sync — Pre-Launch Review

Overview

Final pre-launch review of FinWellU.com with the NLPWM team. The session walked through the site page by page, capturing remaining edits, finalizing the two-phase launch and redirect strategy for FinancialWellnessDoneRight.com, agreeing on a hybrid maintenance contract structure, and scoping Phase 2 features including company portals and Salesforce integration.

Date: 2026-02-13
Attendees:
- John Jonas — NLPWM (external)
- Peter Tourville — NLPWM (external)
- Karly Oykhman — Asymmetric

Key Decisions

Launch Strategy (Two-Phase)

Maintenance Contract Structure

Agreed on a hybrid model to accommodate fluctuating demand (heavier in the first two months post-launch, then again when the GBA system rollout triggers a second wave):

Mark (Asymmetric) will draft the contract; Peter is available to consult by phone.

UX: Pre-Populated Registration Forms

For logged-in users registering for events, forms should pre-populate with their stored profile data rather than requiring re-entry. Users can update fields before confirming. Rationale: reduces friction and keeps contact data (email, phone) current without manual admin intervention.

Floating Register Button — Rejected

The team considered a floating "Register" button but decided against it due to responsiveness risks (the button could obscure page content on mobile). Current design retained.

Transcript Excerpts

On the launch strategy (siloing the old site):

"I would make this, at this point, this thing should become a silo. When the other one launches, this will be its own silo. Any hotlinks that go to, like, UThrive or stuff like that, if you can just go take them out… And eventually, in a month or so, when all these presentations that we've got in the system already are done, we'll just redirect Financial Wellness Done Right over there." — Peter Tourville

On the maintenance contract structure:

"You could almost set up like a draw if you want, Karly, where this is your kind of your flat number based upon what we think normal edits are going to be. And then if we add numbers, it's this per-page type of thing." — Peter Tourville

On pre-populated registration forms:

"I prefer autofill. The reason I prefer autofill is because if your phone number changed, your email changed… you know, just to be able to update it real quick. Otherwise it's like, you know, my email changed and now I'm getting involved with people's changing emails and I don't want that." — Peter Tourville

On the "Book a Discovery Call" CTA:

"You can change that button on the first page to 'Book a Discovery Call.' And that way, when it goes to contact, it can still go to Contact Us, but it'll have kind of the implication that you're going to put in your time and all that other stuff in there." — Peter Tourville
