WooCommerce Project Kickoff — Wisconsin Masonic (2025-12-12)
Overview
During the [1], Mark and Karly aligned on the scope and next steps for adding WooCommerce to the Wisconsin Masonic website. The project is straightforward: install WooCommerce, populate ~10 products, and connect Stripe for payment processing. Jeff, the original site developer, has been assigned to lead the technical work.
Project Scope
- Add WooCommerce to the existing Wisconsin Masonic WordPress site
- List approximately 10 products (with images) provided by the client
- Connect Stripe as the payment gateway
No complex customization is planned at this stage. The goal is a clean, functional storefront using the site's existing foundation.
Key Decisions
- Developer: Jeff (original site builder) is assigned to install WooCommerce and handle any future development work
- Client contact: Adam is the point of contact for product content and Stripe setup
- Stripe setup: Karly connected Adam directly with Jeff for scheduling the Stripe integration
