BluePoint CallRail Number Swapping & GA4 Tracking

Overview

During the December 2025 marketing review, two related tracking issues were identified on the BluePoint ATM website: a CallRail number swapping failure on the banner image, and a multiple-GA4-ID alert flagged by CallRail. Both issues were discovered via CallRail alert emails and assigned to Asymmetric's technical team (Mark) for investigation.

Issue 1: Western Office Website Pool — Banner Number Not Swapping

What's Happening

The Western Office Website Pool tracking number is not dynamically swapping into the banner image on the BluePoint ATM website. The static phone number (Mike Stebbins' cell) remains displayed instead of the CallRail tracking number.

Impact

Context

The number was swapping correctly briefly on the day the integration was originally set up. The regression cause is unknown and requires investigation into the CallRail JavaScript snippet placement or pool configuration for that specific page element.

Pool Naming Update

During the call, CallRail pool names were updated for clarity to reduce future confusion:

Old Name New Name
Western Office Website Pool Western Office Website Pool (Banner)
(footer numbers) Western Office Footer Pool, Eastern Website Main Footer Pool

This naming convention was adopted so that pool purpose and page location are immediately identifiable without needing to cross-reference documentation.

Issue 2: Multiple GA4 IDs Detected

What's Happening

CallRail flagged that multiple Google Analytics 4 measurement IDs are present on the BluePoint ATM website. CallRail requires a single, validated GA4 ID to correctly pass call event data into Google Analytics.

Impact

Likely Cause

The duplicate ID situation likely originated during a prior setup session where a GA4 ID was manually copied and pasted into the site. A second ID may have been left in place from an earlier configuration or a tag manager entry.

Action Items

These issues were surfaced together because CallRail's integration health checks monitor both dynamic number insertion and analytics ID consistency. Both were flagged in the same alert email batch received the day before the December 2025 call.

The CallRail build-out itself was considered complete prior to this call. These are post-launch maintenance issues, not build defects, and should be tracked as new tasks in ClickUp rather than reopening the original build task.
