AHS Website Content Updates

Ongoing content development for [1] spanning blog posts, service page enhancements, contractor pages, location pages, and footer copy. These updates are the primary driver behind significant SEO gains documented in the [2] record.

Blog Posts

Three new blog posts were drafted, reviewed, and approved by Bob and Brady following the March 2026 meeting. All three were slated to go live on the AHS website by end of week (EOW) after the meeting.

Status: Approved — publishing in progress.

Service Pages

All service pages received two content enhancements:

  1. Expanded copy — longer, more substantive page content to improve topical authority.
  2. FAQ sections — structured Q&A added to each page, believed to be the primary driver of AHS's 40+ Google AI Overview citations (up 17 in a single month).

Status: Complete and live.

Contractor Pages

A new section of the site targeting contractor audiences (e.g., insulation contractors, general contractors) is in progress.

Status: Design stage. Sebastian to finalize and send to Gina for review.

Location Pages

Location pages targeting specific cities and towns in the AHS service area were built and linked from the website footer. These pages are intended to rank for geo-modified search queries (e.g., "asbestos removal Oregon Wisconsin").

Status: Live.

Problem

The existing footer referenced only "Dane County," which risks excluding prospective customers in areas like Monroe, WI — approximately an hour from Madison and outside Dane County proper.

Solution

Revise footer copy to explicitly list all counties served. Gina provided the county list during the meeting (including Columbia, Green, and Iowa counties among others). The updated text should make clear that AHS serves Dane County and the surrounding counties by name, rather than relying on a geographic shorthand that may exclude valid service areas.

Status: Revision requested — Sebastian to implement.

Rationale

Listing specific counties rather than using "greater Dane County" or similar phrasing ensures that customers in outlying areas self-identify as within the service area rather than self-selecting out before making contact.

Earth Day Post Image

The image created for the April Earth Day social post was flagged by Gina as strong enough for broader website use. Sebastian to add it to the site as a reusable asset.

Status: Pending — to be added to website image library.
