Trachte FAQ & Product Page Content Optimization
Overview
During the January 2026 ad performance review, Robyn and Sebastian identified a content gap on Trachte's product pages and FAQ sections. Existing FAQ answers were present but too brief to serve dual purposes: satisfying user intent and providing enough structured information for AI systems (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) to cite Trachte as an authoritative source.
The initiative involves coordinating with Trachte's sales team to gather richer, more detailed answers and updated product page copy, then implementing those updates to improve both organic SEO performance and AI citation potential.
See the source meeting: [1].
Problem Statement
- Current FAQ answers address questions at a surface level but lack the depth needed for AI citation
- Product page copy may be outdated or misaligned with how the sales team currently describes offerings
- Without richer content, Trachte risks being overlooked by AI-generated answers in favor of competitors with more comprehensive pages
As Sebastian noted in the meeting:
"Part of it is, like, we want AI to cite us, too, and you kind of have to give it enough info to give an AI citation. So I think part of my feedback on there was just expanding some of those answers, and then rewording the product page."
Goals
- SEO: Improve on-page relevance and depth for target keywords across door, canopy, and self-storage product lines
- AI Citation: Structure answers with enough factual detail and context that AI tools will surface Trachte content in relevant queries
- Sales Alignment: Ensure product page language reflects how the sales team actually describes products and handles objections
Scope
FAQ Pages
- Expand existing answers — don't just answer the question, provide context, specs, use cases, and differentiators
- Prioritize questions that map to high-intent search queries (e.g., door types, pricing factors, lead times, installation)
- Format answers to be scannable and quotable (numbered lists, short paragraphs, defined terms)
Product Pages
- Rewrite copy in coordination with sales team input
- Ensure each page covers: product description, key features, ideal use cases, and differentiators from competitors
- Add or expand structured data (FAQ schema) where applicable
Action Items
- [ ] Robyn — Provide expanded FAQ answers sourced from the sales team (target: week of 2026-01-13)
- [ ] Robyn — Supply updated product page copy reflecting current sales language and positioning
- [ ] Sebastian — Review submitted content for SEO and AI-citation readiness; provide feedback on answer depth and structure
- [ ] Sebastian — Implement approved copy updates to FAQ and product pages
Context & Notes
- This work was originally scoped before the holiday break; delivery slipped due to the office re-opening period
- Sebastian has already drafted initial feedback on FAQ structure and shared it with the team
- The sales team is the primary source of truth for accurate product descriptions and common buyer questions — their input is a hard dependency
- This effort complements the broader [2] initiative: better landing page content will improve Quality Scores and conversion rates for paid campaigns
