Agility Recovery SOAR Course Development

Knowledge base for the SOAR course development project with Agility Recovery, covering Storyline interactive simulations, facilitator manual, and asset sourcing strategy.

Client: [1]
Project Team: Isalia Ramirez (Asymmetric, developer), Mark Hope (Asymmetric), Gus Donelson (Agility Recovery, stakeholder)

Overview

Asymmetric is developing a SOAR sales training course for Agility Recovery using Articulate Storyline. The course includes interactive simulations of Agility's sales tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Co-Pilot), a facilitator manual, and supporting B-roll video content. As of January 2026, development is partially blocked pending vendor system access restoration.

Storyline Development Strategy

Goal

Build interactive Storyline simulations that allow learners to practice using Agility's sales tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Co-Pilot) within the course environment.

Constraint

Learners cannot access live production systems from within Articulate Storyline due to permissions and data security restrictions. Direct live-tool integration is not feasible.

Approved Workaround

Use interactive screenshots or screen recordings to simulate the tool environment. Learners interact with layered hotspots and text-entry fields overlaid on static or recorded visuals. This approach may appear slightly less polished but is appropriate for the current development phase.

"It will simulate the environment. It might look a little clunky, but we're learning." — Isalia Ramirez, 2026-01-09 sync

Asset Sourcing Options (in priority order)

  1. Direct access — Isalia gets vendor credentials to Salesforce, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Co-Pilot (preferred; blocked as of 2026-01-09)
  2. Abby-assisted capture — Isalia provides a task-by-task script; Abby (Agility internal) records or screenshots each step and uploads to SharePoint
  3. Abby joins development calls — If access cannot be granted, Abby participates directly in development sessions

Gus to consult Abby on which option is feasible and report back at the next Friday call.

Access Blockers

Current Status (as of 2026-01-09)

Isalia's vendor access to Agility's systems was revoked due to a company-wide vendor access policy change. She was previously approved as a vendor but was caught in the reset.

Systems affected:
- Salesforce
- ZoomInfo
- SalesLoft
- SharePoint / OneDrive
- Microsoft Co-Pilot (full/360 license)

Resolution Path

Until access is restored, Isalia cannot meaningfully advance the interactive Storyline modules.
