Gravity Forms to HubSpot Re-mapping — BluePoint ATM

Overview

A Gravity Forms plugin update broke the existing form-to-HubSpot field mapping on the BluePoint ATM website, preventing new form submissions from automatically creating or updating contacts in HubSpot. This article documents the issue, the fix, and the known limitations.

Problem

A recent Gravity Forms plugin update silently broke the field mapping between website contact forms and HubSpot. After the update:

This meant inbound leads from the website were arriving in HubSpot incomplete or not at all, creating a gap in the sales pipeline.


Solution

Re-map all website Gravity Forms to their corresponding HubSpot contact fields. This involves:

  1. Auditing every form on the BluePoint ATM website
  2. Re-establishing field-level mappings (name → name, phone → phone, company → company, comments → notes/comments, etc.)
  3. Renaming form activity labels in HubSpot so submissions are clearly identifiable by source form
  4. Verifying that new test submissions correctly auto-populate contact records in HubSpot

The NY campaign landing page form (to be built as part of the [2]) should also be connected to HubSpot at build time to avoid the same issue.

This issue surfaced during the January 14, 2026 strategy call. It was noted that the upcoming NY campaign will rely on a HubSpot-connected landing page form for lead capture — making a working integration a prerequisite for that campaign's launch.
