BluepointATM HubSpot Lead Sync Failures
Overview
During the Oct/Nov 2025 digital marketing review, it was identified that website form submissions from BluePoint ATM's site are not automatically syncing to HubSpot, requiring manual data entry to capture leads. This is an urgent technical issue that risks leads being missed or delayed in follow-up.
The issue was flagged alongside other operational problems including [1] and unexplained website edits.
Problem Description
- Website form submissions are not triggering automatic sync to HubSpot CRM
- Leads must be manually entered into HubSpot as a workaround
- Root cause was unconfirmed at time of meeting; multiple forms across multiple pages may be affected
- The issue was discovered during a routine review of HubSpot contacts, where the expected source attribution (e.g., "Google Ads") was also found to be intermittently missing from contact records
Context
BluePoint ATM uses HubSpot as its primary CRM for tracking inbound leads from paid search (Google Ads, LinkedIn), organic search, and direct website traffic. Proper auto-sync is critical because:
- Sales follow-up speed depends on real-time lead notification
- Attribution data (which campaign or page drove the lead) is captured at sync time and may be lost if entry is manual
- The team is actively running Google Ads PMAX campaigns and SEO efforts that generate form submissions; broken sync undermines ROI measurement
Mark Hope noted during the meeting that HubSpot form submissions can be tracked with source attribution, and that CallRail integration is being added to capture phone leads — making a functioning HubSpot sync even more important as the attribution stack grows.
Diagnosis Steps Assigned
Per the meeting action items, the following diagnostic steps were assigned:
| Step |
Owner |
Detail |
| Test all website forms across pages |
Wade Zirkle & Mike Stebbins |

| Investigate sync failure and resolve |

Review HubSpot form integration settings; identify broken connection |
| Report findings |
Melissa Cusumano |
Report status back to Wade & Mike |
Likely Causes to Investigate
- HubSpot tracking code missing or broken on one or more pages
- Form embed not connected to a HubSpot form (e.g., using a third-party form builder without HubSpot integration)
- HubSpot API key or OAuth token expired/revoked
- Form submissions going to a disconnected pipeline or inbox
This issue was raised in the same meeting as several other urgent technical problems:
- [2] — resolved live during the meeting
- Unexplained website edits (logo/slogan removed, incomplete copy saves) — assigned to Wade Zirkle to investigate and restore
- Stadium & Arena HubSpot email campaign appearing unsent with no delivery data — assigned to Melissa Cusumano to investigate
Action Items (from Meeting)
- [ ] Melissa Cusumano — Run HubSpot form-submission tests across all pages; confirm auto-sync is working; report results to Wade & Mike
- [ ] Wade Zirkle / Mike Stebbins — Submit test form entries on all website pages to help isolate which forms are broken
