The Bookly integration for La Marie Beauty is currently on hold pending completion of service page mockups. These mockups must be reviewed and approved by Lisa (client stakeholder) before the Bookly implementation can proceed. This dependency was confirmed during the [1].
The team confirmed that the service page mockup phase is a hard prerequisite for Bookly integration. The desired UX — where service options update dynamically as a user clicks through variants — needs to be validated in mockup form before any booking plugin work begins.
"We need Eshek to kind of play around with a couple of the services to see if he can have it laid out the way that Lisa likes… that needs to happen first before we can implement Bookly."
— Katie Schueller, 2025-10-21
Eshek's mockup work is paused due to his involvement in the "American Extractions" website launch, which encountered post-launch hiccups. He will resume La Marie mockup work once that project stabilizes.
Separately, the Zapier automation that should create appointments in Square is failing at the final step. This is a second open blocker for the broader integration, though it does not block the mockup phase.
