Trachte Trade Show Geo-Targeting Campaigns
Overview
Trachte and TrackRite use geo-targeted ad campaigns around trade show events to reach attendees and nearby prospects during high-intent windows. Two shows in late October 2025 were scoped during the [1] marketing review on 2025-09-26: MetalCon (TrackRite) and Big Ideas (both brands).
The approach mirrors prior trade show campaigns — standing up geo-targeted paid campaigns timed to the event dates, targeting the venue area to capture attendees actively considering purchasing decisions.

Strategy
- Geo-targeting radius: Campaigns are scoped to the geographic area around each trade show venue, targeting attendees and local prospects during the event window.
- Campaign channels: Consistent with the broader [2] and [3] approach used for Trachte/TrackRite. Bing campaigns are also being stood up around this time and may be included.
- Timing: Campaigns run leading up to and during the event. (Prior seminar booth Meta ads were set to end the day before the event — this pattern may apply here as well.)
- Creative: Expected to use existing display and video assets, including door hallway creative once approved.
Action Items
- [ ] Sebastian Gant — Set up geo-targeting campaigns for MetalCon (Oct 21–23) and Big Ideas show for Trachte and TrackRite
- [ ] Robyn Ogden — Provide Big Ideas show details (venue, exact dates, which brands are exhibiting) so campaigns can be configured
Related Context
- These campaigns were discussed alongside a broader channel expansion push, including new [4] campaigns for both brands and a [5] being stood up simultaneously.
- The geo-targeting approach is an established pattern for Trachte — the team referenced it as "similar to what we've done before" without needing to re-litigate the strategy.
- MetalCon is a TrackRite-only show; Big Ideas serves both Trachte and TrackRite, requiring separate campaign setups or careful audience segmentation by brand.
