BluePoint PMAX Landing Page FAQs
Overview
As part of the PMAX landing page build-out, BluePoint ATM is selecting a subset of FAQs from their main website FAQ list to include on each landing page. The goal is to balance SEO citation eligibility with a clean user experience.
This process was discussed during the [1] marketing sync on 2026-02-25.
FAQ Count: The 5–10 Rule
The recommended range for landing page FAQs is 5 to 10, with a target of approximately 6.
- Minimum of 5: Required to be eligible for AI-generated citation pickup (e.g., Google's AI Overviews and featured snippets). Fewer than five FAQs reduces the likelihood of appearing in these placements.
- Maximum of ~10: Beyond ten FAQs, the page begins to feel cluttered and degrades the user experience. More is not always better.
- Target of ~6: Balances SEO signal strength with readability. Mike Stebbins proposed selecting the six best FAQs from the main website list for the landing pages.
"No less than five, just because we do want to get picked up on those citations. But if we kind of go over 10, it tends to be a little much." — Karly Oykhman
Selection Process
- Mike Stebbins will compile a list of 10–12 candidate FAQs from the main website and send them to Karly.
- Wade Zirkle will review the full list and select the ~6 best for use on the PMAX and other landing pages.
- Karly will implement the approved FAQs across all relevant landing pages once the selection is finalized.
The PMAX landing page edits will be held until the FAQ list is received and approved.
Rationale
FAQs on landing pages serve two purposes:
- SEO / AI citations: Structured FAQ content increases the chance of being surfaced in AI-generated search results and rich snippets. A minimum threshold of five is needed to register meaningfully.
- User experience: Prospective customers scanning a landing page benefit from concise, relevant answers. An excessive number of FAQs competes with the primary call to action and adds scroll friction.
Selecting from the main website's existing FAQ list (rather than writing new ones) ensures consistency across the site and reduces production overhead.
